This is my first trip ever and I need so much help :)

Can I get recommendations for favorite restaurants in each park.

Also, I made PS reservations already for the Princess Storybook breakfast, how is this one? My girls will be 7 & 2. Would you recommend the Cinderella breakfast instead?

I've heard both are about the same. Cindy's is nice but, it does not live up to it's hype. To be honest, everything your first time is great! Take it easy and have fun. Nothing is like your first time. You'll never get in everything you expect to, thats why people get addicted!:p

Try Crystal palace in Mk. They have a great buffet and the Winnie the pooh characters are there.

MK... Crystal Palace for Pooh and friends, and or Peco Bills for good counter service and a view of the parades. We actually ate there 2X in one day to see both parades while we ate.

AK... Donald's Breakfast o saurus.. Good breakfast with Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto(I think Pluto LOL)

MGM ... Hollywood and Vine ... Minnie character meal. She is all dressed up

Epcot... well you have the princess breakfast. We really enjoyed the Morracan restaurant and my DD loved dancing with the G rated belly dancer

Don't forget some of the resorts restaurants. They are some of my favs!

Contemporary-outside MK-Chef Mickey's- a great character buffet with Mickey & friends. It has good food for adults and kids. They serve breakfast and dinner.

MK-my kids love Cosmic Ray's.

Beach Club-outside Epcot-Cape May is my fav character brekfast.
Beaches & Cream-if you get vouchers from Connections, you can have a great meal for a big discount. They have wonderful ice cream!

Epcot--One of my kids fav dinners is at Garden Grille. The restaurant rotates slowly.

Check out Deb Wills site for some good menu info. www.wdwig.com

Keep checking out these boards and you will get some much info!

Welcome to DIS!

Sorry so long but here you go.........

MK:
My DD, 6, has pretty much done all the breakfasts and Cindy's still her favorite. Even w/ the new Storybook in Epcot, in fact now we have to do both. So if you can, do Cindy's.....if not the Storybook is great too--if they haven't been to Cindy's they won't be disappointed.
Liberty Tree tavern is good for dinner...you get the Mickey group and for my DH...it is a good deal--lots of good food.

RESORTS:
Hoop-de-doo is a must for our family...we love the corny show.
Flying Fish and Artist Point are great for something not so much for the kids...even though DD enjoys that as well and the kids menus are good. Chef Mickeys is good for another character experience.
We are doing Boma & Jiko this time, I'll let you know!
Epcot:
Tepanyaki (spelling??) in Japan my DD loves it and the food is good, great show...try to do a late lunch..much cheaper and it seems not much less food. Le Celliar in Canada, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellant.

Coral Reef in Living Seas is hit and miss but the view of the aquarium is spectacular, ask to sit at the glass!

MGM--again we have to do Hollywood and Vine....Minnie wears her cocktail dress and DD loves it (It is her second fav). Brown Derby for dinner, the tuna is wonderful!

Fultons in Downtown for seafood.

Sorry for the book of favorites but that is our much do list. As you see we don't have much time for anything else.

The best advice I can give a Disney Dining novice is: AVOID ALFREDO'S. It is the worst "restaurant" in the world (I mean the whole world)

We like Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom
Le Celliar in Canada
Hollywood and Vine in MGM

We haven't eaten at all of the restaurants, but so far, here are our favorites:

MK - Liberty Tree Tavern for a character dinner. Cosmic Rays is good for fast food, and it has entertainment in the form of Sunny Eclipse, an animatronic alien that sings songs lounge singer style. Pecos Bill's is also good.

Epcot - Le Cellier for dinner. Cantina de San Angel for fast food or lunch. The food court in the Land Pavilion also has a pretty good selection for fast food or lunch.

MGM - Hollywood and Vine buffet.

Animal Kingdom - Only real "sitdown" restaurant is the Rainforest Cafe, which we aren't particularly fond of. Flame Tree BBQ has some pretty good BBQ food for lunch or a fast food.

Hope that helps and have fun!

Park Recommendations:

Sci Fi - Food Ok but theming is great.
50s Prime Time Fun for the adults as well as the kids. Food pretty good.
Garden Grill - heard this is good.
CP - Went for character dinner last year and it was pretty good.
LTT - loved it for lunch, characters for dinner

Resorts
Ohanas, Boma & Whispering Canyon, family fun and good food.
Beaches & Cream, fun old fashioned sundae shop, the best burgers at wdw and free jukebox.
Kona, great breakfast and lunch

Poly Luau and Hoop Dee Doo are fun dinner shows

Here's a tip:

If your kids are up early, make a breakfast Ps for one hour before the parks open. You can see the characters without cutting into precious park time. You are done before the park opens as well! You also won't be hungry again until at least 2! We usually just "snack" until dinner if we've done a breakfast.

Here are some great ones and you will get to cover all the main character groups:

AK- Donald's breakfastsaurus- mickey is here too!
MGM- Hollywood and vine- minnie! you can eat lunch here too. Delicious!
MK- Crystal palace- breakfast, lunch or dinner!!!! If you do EE at MK, have the lunch. don't waste time eating breakfast- do lunch when you've gotten all your favorite rides out of the way.
best way to see Pooh!

Epcot- princesses-
you have all the main character groups taken care of

non character meals-
Epcot- Le Cellier!
MGM- Brown Derby!
AK- Tusker house- yum!
MK- only did LTT- great!!!!!! Minnie and gang!
