I was hoping for a little information on the Aug. pin weekend at Epcot. I have to admit right up front that I don't trade pins; collect a little, but not trade. I teach in an elementary school where security now requires that we carry our key with us at all times, so I figured why not on a pin lanyard? I teach a performing arts class, so I started a lanyard for each Disney story that I use in my classroom. Got one for Fantasia, one for Beauty and the Beast, and of course a Villains one just for me, plus a few others. Needless to say the kids love them!
Anyway, my question is would August be a good weekend for someone like me to go? Will I be able to buy pins or will it be all trading? Will I even be able to get in, or do you have to know the secret handshake, so to speak! We're back to school that week, would it even make sense to come if I can only drive up on Saturday? Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

You should definately try to go...Our first event was the AK Event ...we had a BALL !!
