How is it in November before Thanksgiving at WDW? How is the Food & Wine festival? Are the crowds light or heavy? How is the weather at that time? Are the park hours shorten or do they stay open later? Is there any e-nights? Is this convention season? Is this value or regular season? Do you think they will have some of the great discount rates during this time that they are offering now? Is this a good time to go? Are the Christmas decorations up at this time? Do they start playing holiday music in the resorts & parks or is it still the regular Disney music? I've only been at the end of November, so sorry that I am full of questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

we there 2 years ago mid November very light crowds but the weather was iffy....going again this November...

I was there last Nov. and it was great. I got there right at the end of the Food and Wine Festival and stayed 8 nights. Before I left most of the Christmas decorations were up. That was a magical experience. Went to bed on Weds. night and got up Thurs. morning to a completely decorated resort (Animal Kingdom Lodge). I did manage to visit most of the resorts just to see the decorations. The Food and Wine Festival was great. Tried some new foods and was surprised that my favorite was a whiskey and oatmeal flan from Ireland. I thought the weather was great. Cool enough to wear slacks but shorts were okay during the day. At night it got cool enough that a sweat shirt felt good. It did rain the day that I went to Animal Kingdom but I had my poncho with me so it didn't slow me down. I did go swiming because, as you know, the pools are all heated. The crowds were very light. My niece looked at my pictures and wondered how I got pictures without a lot of people in them. Nov. is value season. The Magic Kingdom was only open late one night while I was there so watch the calendar to pick the best days to visit the different parks. I didn't see Fantasmic simply because I've seen it before but it was running.

I agree with Pennylynn. We were there last year from 13th-17th. Same thing happened to me I went to bed and the next morning our resort (WL) was decorated. It is truely a great time to go. Pools are heated, crowds are very light! It's value season, the food and wine festival rocks! Since the crowds were so light the wine tastings weren't full either, so you got more! The park hours are shorter, but if you take advantage of EE mornings ou are usually pretty tired anyway and then you can go back to your resort, change and get ready for nice dinners in resorts. We found this a great chance to resort hop and try out some nice places to eat like CG, Artist Point, Fulton's, etc. As for the weather, it did rain while we were there, but that's to be expected in the tropics. Don't let that deter you, it's not that cold and rainy.
Have fun!

We were there last year from the 8th through the 16th. Crowds were lighter than our usual first week in March trip. We only needed or used FastPass on BTMRR and Test Track. The first weekend had back-to-back record breaking hot days so we used the Dolphin 'beach' for the first time ever, Wine & Food Fest. was great but still not as crowded as we're used to, we hit MGM on the Sat. of Super Soap weekend and found all the rides to be walk-ons because everybody else was there to see the 'stars' and us normal Dis Freaks were scared off. This weekend was the tail end of the dreaded 'NJ Week', and still, the crowds were light by my estimation. Between weekends it was even better. I'd do this time of year again anytime.
