Is November a busy time of year for Disney weddings? What is the weather like? Tryng to find a date is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack! Mom can't go during book rush...MIL2B doesn't want the summer months (don't blame her) and BF (soon2b DF) will only go during value season. This was the best I could come up with...What does this time of year look like?

TIA

I just returned yesterday from my week long trip with planning session. The parks are slow. We were able to walk on a lot of rides. The weather was great...a bit too hot for my taste. While we were at Franks for our planning session there were 2 weddings in a 4 hour span. I assume that every day is like that but I am not sure. They are extremely quick and efficiant with the turn around.

Just as an addendum on Mindy's post, check out her PJ for pictures from her trip - she posted some great ones of the WP and it shows the weather.

But as for weather averages, you're talking a high of about 79 during the day and 59 at night. The rainfall for the month is less than average coming in at approximately 2.32 inches of precip for the month. Compare that with June through September where you get over 6 inches a month. Also, you're not in direct threat with tropical weather - the prevailing winds in November tend to take tropical storms over Cuba and out to sea. There have been 16 storms that have hit Florida in November - compare that to September - 160 and October - 116. So November is a pretty spiffy time of year!

Now that's the weather. I think you're in regular season until Thanksgiving where the price goes up a bit. Value is after Thanksgiving through mid December. HTH! :goodvibes

Plus, you get the bonus of all the Christmas decorations being up! We're getting married next Monday, and picked that date so our guests could have the opportunity to see Disney at a time they normally wouldn't.
