Yes I know, - another thread about the weather but hey, - if somebody here doesn't have the answer who will?!!!!

The 'averages' are all well and good but there's nothing like personal experience to tell it like it is.

We've managed to book a CFW (thats child free week!) in mid November and whilst it looks as though it will be warm (ish) I wonder if there are any general rules about weather that time of year. For example, - will it be warm enough to spend a day at a water park? Hurricanes/tropical storms long gone etc.

Any infomation gratefully received.

Thanks

Stuart

Hi Stuart

We've been many times in November and it has always been glorious. In fact last November it equalled the highest recorded temps in Orlando for those dates (86F or 87F) if I remember rightly. Hardly any rain at all and the parks are so quiet the longest queue is about 5 minutes but most are walk-ons.

Enjoy

Best wishes

we have been twice in nov.weather has been fine both times

it was still warm enough to go to the water parks but we still took a pair of jeans,t-shirt and a jumper for later.

on both trips it only rained once and was dry within minutes.it was quite funny watching the steam come up off the sidewalks.

we're nearly there! whoohoo!

We have been twice in November - 1992 ( for 3 weeks) and last year (for 2).

1992 - temps. in high 80's much of the time, rained very little and then mostly in the evening. Even then it stayed warm - we got drenched watching Illuminations at Epcot in just shorts and T-shirts.

2002 - temps. in 70's most of the time - sometimes got to 80's. It was cooler in the evenings and mornings and there was a cool breeze some of the time. Most days we wore T-shirts and shorts to the parks with a fleece for the earliest part of the day and the evening. There was one day when it was cold and rained very, very hard all day (16/11) and then it was very cold and overcast the next day - this was a storm causing blizzards further up the East Coast but was apparently very unusual and was headline news for days. Other than that I don't remember any rain at all other than in the middle of the night.

For me perfect weather - not too hot and little rain.
