November weather

What is the weather like in early November? We may have to change our trip from August to November. I know the days will be shorter and hours shorter, but maybe less crowded?

Around Thanksgiving week crowds will be comparable to August. Other than that it should be a bit less crowded. Reduced parks hours and entertainment will go hand-in-hand with lower crowds.

I was there twice last November, once the first week and then for a few days before Thanksgiving. At night, it was long sleeve weather, but I was okay without a jacket.

The last day I was there, the 16th, it started to get a little busy because it was the start of SW Holiday and the other holiday stuff (minus Holiday Mansion, which starts in time for Halloween).

The days leading up to Veteran's Day will probably be crowded, as it is on a Tuesday and people probably take Monday off and make a long weekend out of it.

We always go in November the week after Thanksgiving and it is lovely.......low crowds, the park is decorated for Christmas, and fireworks and castle lighting ceremony everynight (those are done everynight once the holiday season officially starts.....not sure when in Novemer it begins).

This year the week after Thanksgiving falls in December. We hope that doesn't make it more crowded. We have always had wonderful weather.....nice during the day and jackets at night. We have had a few days of strong wind, which was tiring, and caused the fireworks to be cancelled. On our last two trips, it rained the day we left. So don't count on it to be dry for your whole trip.

November has been a lovely time to go for us. I would choose to go then over August because I hate the heat. Good luck planning and have a wonderful trip!!!!

Nov 27 is the fourth Thursday of Nov and so, yes, that would be Thanksgiving day.

Thanks for all the replies. We would be going November 5-9. We are going to be in Las Vegas Nov 1-5 (business) and decided we would use vacation days to extend our trip.
