November Trip

I was wondering if anyone had any advice about going to Disney during November? Is it as crowded during the middle of the month, before Thanksgiving? Are the Christmas decorations up yet? How about the weather? I am thinking about changing our late August trip to mid November. We are staying at the Shades of Green so room rates would remain the same. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

The weather was perfect on our mid-November trip last year (Nov. 11-20). Crowds were on the lighter side during the week, but busy both weekends. Christmas was in full swing at most of the parks, with both the AK and MGM parades transformed to their holiday routine. The Osbourne Family Lights were up and running, too.

I wouldn't hesitate to go again in November.

That's one of the best times to go. August isn't as bad as July, but November before Thansgiving is a slow season, making it a great time to go.

Mid-November is great. Crowds are lower, weather compared to Pennsylvania is great, and every morning there are more decorations visible.

November (around Veterans Day) is our favorite time to go. The crowds are light, the weather is perfect, and they are just stating to decorate for Christmas.

I highly recomend November !!!

We go every T'giving...we like it much better than our spring trips. There are fewer crowds generally and the weather is much cooler, but not *cold.* the Chrismas decoration situation is neat. You leave the park T'giving night w/ no decorations, come back the next morning and they are there...magically overnight....HUGE trees and all!

Sorry to differ about the "magically overnight" thing with trees and decorations from Thanksgiving night to the next--the vast majority of decorations, including the large Christmas trees, were already up by the middle of November when we were there.
