Welcome to my Pre-Trip Report! I've lost count of how many times we've been to Disney, but that doesn't mean I'm any less excited!
Who: Me, my mother, and my three children (17, 15, 11)
When: November 23-27, 2024 - Being a teacher means you take your vacation as the same time everyone else does. I'm prepared for the crowds that Thanksgiving Week brings!
Where: Beach Club 2 bedroom villa - We had originally booked a studio at our favorite resort, Boardwalk, but I came across a deal that I couldn't pass up! We haven't stayed at Beach Club since 2018. We are surprising the kids with this giant room! Super excited about 2 bathrooms!!!
Plans: 11/23 -We are driving from MS. We usually leave in the early morning hours, and plan to do the same this trip. It is about a 10 hour drive, and our plan is to arrive about 2pm. If our room is ready, we will get settled in and rest before supper. I haven't nailed down our supper plans yet but I have reservations at Kona, Splitsville, and Trattoria al Forno. Not sure which we will do just yet!
11/24 - Epcot Day, and it will be our only full park day. We will ride allll the rides and eat allll the food! It is the day after food & wine ends so no festival but we will still eat around the world. We have lunch reservations at Le Cellier. I may splurge for a 1 day Hopper so we can go to animal kingdom but I'm still undecided. I'd like this trip to be a little low-key and less stressful that previous trips! Thoughts?
11/25 - SLEEP IN and take advantage of the resort/room! Two bedrooms will let us spread out and relax which is something we don't usually get to do with 5 people in a studio. We have a late breakfast reservation at Trattoria, so we will stroll from Beach Club to Boardwalk. My plan is then to have some pool/resort time before we head to Hollywood Studios for JOLLYWOOD NIGHTS! This will be our first time attending this event. We are still picking out our outfits (going casual mostly) and deciding if we will eat a quick service meal before going to the event or if we will just eat once we get there. I'm considering a quick service meal at Riviera considering we could hop on skyliner. Thoughts?
11/26 - SLEEP IN again!!!! YAY! I know we will need the rest after being out late at Jollywood. I have a couple breakfast reservations but I'm undecided what we will do. We have to check out and move resorts and I still don't have a reservation nailed down. I'm hoping for something on the monorail loop so it is all up in the air right now. Makes me nervous because we are getting close! I plan to set something in stone but the end of the week! On this evening, we have MVMCP! We will check out of Beach Club by 11am and be at MK for the party about 3pm so we only have a couple of hours to get moved and hopefully we our room will be ready somewhere so we can chill a little bit! We have reservations at BOG at 4:50 so we should be done eating just in time for the party to start. We attended the party last year and loved it!
11/27 - Check out of ? resort and head back to MS!
I'd love your thoughts on our trip plans!
