Here's to hoping not.
However, I did bump my trip up a little... I'll now be there by noon on the 15th instead of the 16th just in case....
Not that I need an excuse to plan for more Disney time.

It will be crowded. Many west coast schools now get the whole week off, so many of us head to Disney. This will be our second time traveling this week and last time, the crowds were heavy, but still manageable.

We are used to heavy crowds and are usually just so happy to be at Disneyland that the long waits don't bother us.

I don't think so but it will be busy we are there from the 14-19

Nov 7 to 14th . . . our first time. Sounds like we will be gone before the crowds show (she asks hopefully)???

We usually do WDW the week before Thanksgiving and it is fabulous. Great weather, low crowds. But we couldn't get a room at the GCH that week so we bumped it up. Hopefully a good decision : )

I have faith that it won't be that busy. I think the evening of the 16th and that saturday will be busy FOR SURE!! Last year where there wasn't any event on the saturday, by noon FP's were gone for Space mountain and it was a 90 minute stand by. So definately use all the skills you've learned for the weekend but I do have faith the week prior will be normal november crowds. But we'll see...

Edit: I read somewhere that someone was thinking Veterans day won't be crowded because the holiday season doesn't kick off until the following weekend...don't count it. Veterans day is still a holiday and the locals get the day off and WILL be in the park, and I was under the impression the decorations will still be up and small world and haunted mansion are up,just the fireworks and parades don't start until the weekend. Which is normal I thought...

That might have been me who said that.

What I meant to say was that I hope it isn't so crowded that DL reaches capacity and we can't get back in if we take a break or if we hop over to DCA.

I expect the parks to be crowded...much like a summer weekend. I'm just hoping that we don't get locked out of DL while we're riding Soarin'.

We're going to DL on the day we arrive in Anaheim, Saturday, Nov. 10th. We won't get into the park until around noon. Our main goal that first day is to view the Remember fireworks. Any other attraction we get to experience is a bonus. We plan on hitting the less popular rides that day like Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, the Tiki Room, the Mark Twain, Big Thunder, etc...and hopefully 1 or 2 of the more popular ones.

If we get to see Remember on Saturday, then we are going to Universal on Sunday with "Front of the Line Passes," then going back to DL on Monday, Knott's on Tuesday, then DL & DCA on Wed, Thurs, & Friday.

I expect Monday, the actual holiday to be crowded at DL, but not nearly as crowded as the previous 2 days as there are no Fireworks or parades scheduled on Monday. DL's hours are 9 - 10 that day, so I think they're expecting lower crowds as well.

If it wasn't for the Remember fireworks, I wouldn't be in the parks at all over Veterean's Day Weekend, but now that I've seen Remember on DVD...I just gotta experience it in person.

I'm taking one of my kids on a surprise visit to DL and DCA 11/9-11. We're going down to spend time with friends who are dancing in the Christmas Parade being taped that weekend. We're staying at the Holiday Inn.

Too excited! We will be there on my DD's 10th birthday....CAN NOT WAIT!

We went last year the week before Thanksgiving & my DH said NEVER AGAIN! The crowds were horrible. In fact we weren't even supposed to go again until next year he made me promise (We just went to WDW in April and are going back next year w/my parents) . So after our radio stations had these contests for the past couple of weeks that gave you a short trip to DLR and my DD and I tried and tried and tried to no avail (she was very disappointed...I felt really bad actually because I kept saying keep positive we'll get it! My bad....hard lesson learned for mom there at her poor kiddos expense). So one afternoon after she came running in from school on the last day asking if they called my name he pulled me aside and said....FINE I can't take it anymore....you can have TWO DAYS in the parks and that's IT! Pretty much sums up how we reacted....you'dve thought we actually won! Well we did....I just my DH! Who I honestly think is growing a little more fond of my happy place than he'd like to admit!

OMG small world! We are from Calgary. Dh is going down for the SPE conference on the 11th and we are flying down on the 14th and staying until the 19th at the GC.!!!

We will be there Nov 7-9! I am so excited!! We've never been to Disney Land. My dh and I have been to Disney world many times although even at that not for awhile. We'll be taking our kids with us ages 7, 6, 3 and 15mths. So excited to take them to disney!
