Hi,

Your plan looks good but you may want to check if the EMH's will be in DLP because I am travelling at the beginning of Nov and the EMH's will be in WDS - I believe this is due to getting DLP ready for the Christmas season. The EMH's in WDS usually last a couple of weeks.

Hope this helps.

K.

Thanks! We go on the 16th of November - so all the Christmas decoration will be up by then and EMH only in DLP.

I have another odd question. Was thinking about buying some wine in the station - would I be allowed to take it to the DLH through security.... I suspect not......

I have another odd question. Was thinking about buying some wine in the station - would I be allowed to take it to the DLH through security.... I suspect not......

I always bring wine from the vender at Kings Cross Station, I have never had problems carrying it through security. Others may have different experience.

When we went last year, DH went to get a bottle of wine at the station and then meet me outside Planet Hollywood in the Village. They wouldn't let him back in and he ended up having to go on a bus back to the hotel (Cheyenne) and then come back and meet me after he'd left the wine in my room. I was thinking to purchase a bottle in duty free maybe at the airport - that way I can stash it in my case when we get to Paris..... Need a glass of wine at the end of a long day :-) :cool1:

We got caught out on our way to Sequoia, we'd brought beer with us and the security were telling us in French that we couldn't take it, luckily the couple behind were able to translate as we had no idea what was going on!

Does anyone know which rides are likely to open when EMH is in the studios? We'll be there 10-14 Nov (not long to go now!)

Thinking of booking 'Inventions' for 7.30pm on our first evening - do you think we'd be able to make 'Dreams' and get to Inventions for a 7.30pm reservation?

Your first day is on November 16th you say?
The park doesn't close that day until 22:00.
Which means Dreams starts at 22:00.

If you book a 19:30 reservation, you'll probably be done by 21:00.
Which means you still have an hour left until Dreams starts, and the Disneyland Hotel is right at the entrance of the park.
So yes, that will give you plenty of time to find a good place to watch Dreams.

Our first night is at the Kyriad - as the plan doesn't land till about 8pm. Transferring to the DLH on Monday 17th :-)

Ah my mistake.
You can make it to Inventions by 19:30.
However I would advice to watch it from the top of Main Street, around Town Square.
This way you can quickly exit the park once Dreams finishes.
If you watch it closer to the Castle it might take you a bit to exit the park, since everyone else will be doing the same thing.
Some people say going through one of the Arcades is quicker.
However I have found multiple times that it takes about the same time to exit. It doesn't really make a difference.
