Planning our first family trip to Disney but I'm undecided on when to go. I was thinking the first week in December because of the Christmas decorations and less crowds but was worried about weather. So now I'm thinking beginning of November. Because we're going to stay at Nickelodeon Suites, I want the kids to enjoy the pools and slides they have. Anyone go in early November? Any comments on Nickelodeon Suites? Thanks!

We were having a hard time with this. Early November has the Food and Wine Festival (yum!) so I was really leaning toward that. But the rates were considerably higher. We are now going Nov. 27th to 12/2. The decorations will be up. The weather should be decent and the crowds should be light.

You can't go wrong either way. We were at WDW last year November 13-21 and the Christmas decorations were already up. If it's important to you to go to MVMCP then I'd try to go late Nov or early Dec. It's a beautiful time of year to enjoy WDW. The crowds pick up around Thanksgiving.

I don't know anything about Nick Hotel although it looks FUN!

We were there 1st week of Dec last year and the weather was wonderful. Only had to wear a sweatshirt one day and the rest were warm and sunny. Even in the evening all we needed was a long sleeved shirt. My vote would be for December, and don't miss MVMCP!

Food and Wine Festival ????????????????? Whats that all about then, as we are at WDW for 2 weeks as of Nov 1st !!!!!!!!!!
We decided on this date as we thought it would be quieter.
