I'm considering bringing the family to DL the first week of November. I've usually travelled to DW in Florida and it's been a long time since I've been to DL. The cancellation of MSEP in Florida has made me reconsider DL. I see Paint the Night is scheduled to end in September, does anyone know if Paint the Night will continue beyond September? Also, when do holiday events typically start? The family really enjoys the night entertainment, any information would be helpful for planning.

PTN will probably continue. The other Pixar entertainment is up in the air, though I expect they will run the parade at least until the holidays.

Holidays do not officially begin until mid November. However, they begin putting up icicles and other decor before Halloween ends.

Oh and Haunted Mansion changes in Sept and is wonderful

For the last few years, the Holiday season has started around Veterans Day weekend, but they generally don't make any announcements until mid-to-late summer. That's usually when the holiday season entertainment starts and IaSW Holiday reopens (as mentioned Haunted Mansion Holiday should be opening with the start of HalloweenTime and remain open through the holidays). As agamble said, the general guessing is that PtN will continue past the end of summer, but they haven't made any official announcements yet. My guess is that they won't make any announcement about PtN until they're ready to release the HalloweenTime or Holiday announcements.

It's also worth noting that while the Holiday season starts in mid-November, they might not offer everything nightly until closer to Christmas. I think fireworks, the Christmas parade, and WoC were offered nightly from the start of the holiday season, but F! was only presented on weekends.
