November Disneyworld. Our first ever trip.

It;s all coming together nicely for you - you are getting organised very quickly.

I've not used gardengrocer but they are pretty popular on these boards. It makes me wonder have you organised a fridge for your room? I have not stayed at Pop but I believe they do not come with a fridge. There are numerous fridge swap threads on the resorts boards - so, whilst I admit my ignorance, just thought I'd put the question.

I love the outfit, such a cute Animal Kingdom twist but still looks very wearable and comfy - and I would love to hear how the rhinestones hold up, they are gorgeous:)

I have been looking at the hair clips and headbands (like this one http://www.etsy.com/listing/7915611...iew_type=gallery&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet= and this one http://www.etsy.com/listing/7841797...isney&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5643946) but I'm not going for over a year so just looking at the moment! I would love to have a few hair accessories to take with me, I love the custom outfits but I plan to shop a lot over there so don't want to bring a tonne of clothes with us.

I have heard lots of positives about gardengrocer - have a look in the family or budget sections on here for more info about them. I have heard Florida's water is pretty yuck so you might want to order a case of water from them too, and I think having some snacks like muesli bars/cereal etc is handy even with free dining (:yay: on getting FD by the way!)

Sugar, yeh I have a fridge from the fourm. I just stumbled on the thread and thought what the heck.lol :thumbsup2 I think it costs $10 a night for a mini fridge. Same with the internet too.

dabecs,I have a US friend who has made my DD clippies for years. She usually doesnt to customs, but she did these for me. I paid $3.70 for mine. Love the toy stoy bow.

Who's good to hire a car from? I need a booster for DS. Any goodies on Orlando?:surfweb:

Any help would be good. Im thinking we need an auto too. Not keen to change gears either. DH keeps playing usa driving games to practice. Daytona USA is a goodie for gear changing.:rotfl2:

Hi Tara2004,
I found my Dis Agent to be wonderful even when I thought she would not respond on weekends - she has..... I used Deb Chambers @ Magic for Less - She looked after all my ADR's Dis Bookings applied free dining when it became available and booked all my off Dis Accommodation (Universal and Seaworld).

I booked Universal Tickets through Undercover Tourist (best rate at time) and purchased Entertainment book (Orlando) for food and other entertainment vouchers (Discovery Cove, Pirates Dinner etc)

I booked my car with Traveljigsaw.com as they have insurance cover (did you know that you have to have liability insurance to drive a car in the US - Excess insurance (Travel Insurance) is not enough..... as they say read the fine writing...

I just signed up online with the premium outlets for deals. Our hotel has one of there shopping centres up the road from where Im staying. I hope they have some good deals going on instore when Im there.

Im going to have a look at car hire this weekend. Thanks for the heads up on the insurance.

It's taking ages for things to arrive from the USA . It's like the posties are on go slow mode.:confused3

We're finding that too - anything which isn't a <1 week courier service is taking 3-4 weeks. Even for small parcels.

I have found just the opposite (with my one order)

I ordered a lens for my camera from B&H photo video in NYC, I placed the order on Thursday afternoon and it arrived on my doorstep yesterday!.

It was just as cheap to pay $33 postage - as it would be to walk in their store and buy it over the counter - as I would then have to pay sales tax.

I was a bit disappointed that the postie just left it on the door step - I thought you had to sign for UPS parcels.

Luckily I was home, I just didnt hear the knock on the door :confused3

I have a friend in navada that posts things to aus for me. Her stuff takes around 5-7 days. I wonder if it beats my other items posted. I had a mobigo hand held game system posted on the 4th and it's not arriving today.

Got our passports today. Gee I look terrible. I look like a head only. No shoulders, nothing. WTH? Why am I not allowed shoulders.

Does anyone else just have shoulders?

Hay there, just wanting to ask is there anyone with celiacs disease in here? My dr said I might have it. It doesn't sound good. I have a large amount of the symptoms.

Not good when I'm off on my holiday in 7ish weeks.

Also does anyone know if delta has in flight entertainment for the kids? Im sure the kids will be sick of video games by the time we go on the Orlando flight.

hey

Delta have a great entertainment system, so they will be occupied for the 14hrs..no worries.....:cheer2:

with delta, their seats a tad hard, so maybe take a little extra blanky to sit on, and use the delta balnky to cover up with.....numb bum after 13 hrs...not good...but we love delta:love:

Almost one month to go. It's getting close now.

Pity my son is sick. I'm hoping his ear infection heals soon.

It all sounds so complicated to book a WDW trip. Disneyland just seems so much simpler. But I guess I've been to Disneyland a few times so I understand it more than I understand Disneyworld. I'm really going to have to rely on all your help for my 2014 disneyworld trip. But at least I have time to plan and read up about it. :)

What Car games has your dh been playing other than that Daytona one? I MUST get us some.
