November & Courtyard by Marriott

I think we've decided about our trip later this year (yay!), I've just got a couple of questions first:

How busy are the parks during the first week of November? I know that it's just after UK half term and I wondered if that meant it was going to be really busy?

We normally wouldn't go so close to any school holidays but DH's uncle is taking his 4 cousins over then so it would be lovely to spend some time with them over there.

Also, has anyone stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott at Vista Center recently? If so, would you recommend it?

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

Never been in Nov but been last week in Oct a few times, low crowds compared to rest of times we have been, Nov I would expect low crowds unless there is any US Holidays (Is thanksgiving while you are there?)

Courtyard stayed there last 2 Augusts, 25 nights each visit. One of our fave places, would be there again next month but it was about £33/night, only ever paid £25/night before so staying just around the corner from it at Country Inn & suites for £20/night incl breakfast. Just looked for 1st week in Nov and seen it for £28/night, I would go back at that price, no question.

Cheers Wayne - we're only going to be able to go for a week, so won't be clashing with Thanksgiving :)

It's very reassuring to have a recommendation for the Courtyard - I've seen some v reasonable rates for it, but nothing like £28 - where can I find it at that price?

I'm very excited now - just wondering how much I can pack into our 7/8 nights there...

Hi
Sorry had to goto bed early last night, early start this morning, have flowers to do for a wedding, including 7 bridesmaids so this will be my last post for a few hours. I saw the price on Alpharooms, I use them quite a lot it was £30/night in their site but if you book via Quidco.com you get 7% cashback bringing it down to just under £28/night. If you are new to Quidco there is a £5 annual fee they take out of your earnings but its well worth it.
I have just booked Fairfield Inn LBV with them for October half term at £29/night incl breakfast for 3 of us.

Thanks again Wayne - 7 bridesmaids sounds a few too many to me (I had 2 and even that was expensive enough ;) ), but I guess that the bigger the wedding party, the better for you! :thumbsup2

I am a fellow Quidco fanatic (think I've earned about £300 over the past 3 months so will definitely be up for adding to it.

I don't think Jersey weeks makes a lot of difference but if you can avoid it you might as well.

Personally I use Rpoints as they price match Quidco and any other site with better cashback, also other things I like, like offers you post on the forums you get a % of anything bought thru that offer. I had problems when I joined Quidco with them paying out, had to claim then they only gave me 50% of what was due, never had that problem with Rpoints, paid every penny but Quidco is easier for new users to cashback sites thats why I mention them in posts. I have had almost £1,200 back in 3 years for nothing.:thumbsup2
