November closures are up!

I just saw this too. SM and tea cups while we're there, not so bad. There are a few rides only open on the weekend so I'll have to factor that into my planner!!

Last year IASW was closed which is why I booked a week later this time! Mind you, I see it's not on the list at all???? I wonder when it will be getting its Christmas overlay if it's not closing?

yes i wondered about ISAW & did the same as you. It is closed in October 24 -26 so maybe they are doing it then??!

For IASW it is very possible that the Christmas refit will be done in October

SM2 might see the new restraints and head rests been installed

As far as I remember last year the Christmas overlay on iasw took over a week. Thats a fairly long list of closures for a busier time of the year with the whole start of Christmas season and it doesnt seem to be matched by an effort to add extra Christmas attractions.

I think I'd try SM again if there were new headrests and restraints, it just makes me feel panicy as it is.

I read somewhere that SM will eventually get completely redesigned trains but I think that's next year. If the refurb continues into December, maybe they're doing it then? I just hope it's open for my trip on the 10th!

I can't wait for the new trains because it's far too rough as it is!

It would be good for new head rests to be installed, I can only manage the ride once whereas the Aerosmith RnR I can do several times without a problem.

Not fussed about the teacups as I don't like them. IASW might well get its Christmas overlay in October as I think they usually use the time to smarten the ride up but in the Summer it looked fine so they could get away with the couple of days to change it

I'm pleased that most of the Fantasyland rides are open towards the end of November as that is when people from my work are going, all 53 of us hitting the parks! and many have children so it looking good at the moment

You know it's not that many if we compare with previous years/the season

Rogue River Boats could be taken off all the lists as they were only ever open in summer and haven't been for the past 2 years at least

Captain Eo has been closed since April and is only now opening intermitantly same with Armagedeon - I think they are waiting to get rid of both

Casey and the Conte des Fees is rarely open out of the summer season-peak holiday times

Hopefully SM2 is going to be refitted as the head banging, rattling exerience that it is now is no fun so I'm appaulding that one

The only thing I'm bothered about is the teacups, I think my daughter would have loved them. We'll have to make sure we try and get on Casey and the Storybook boats in the first two days we're there.

Other than that I can live without the others really.

Not too bad then! Just need them to confirm November opening hours now....

Whilst i'm gutted that it's closed whilst we are there in november, luckily i'll get to go on it plenty in 3 weeks.

Are the headrests confirmed, and is this in response to the extremely bumpy rides you can have? We all find it bangs your head around a fair bit!

In regards to Armegeddon, I really think it would be so much better without the build-up show behind it.... it makes you not want to bother with it again... perhaps give people a choice? 1 show with and 1 without?

Gutted about the tea cups, we love them as a family and they are quite a fast loading ride in EMH (as opposed to Dumbo!!). Hoping they are open 1st & 2nd December but I suspect some of these rides advertised as closed up until 30th November may stretch into December - but the dates aren't printed yet (I'm guessing, not looked as on my way out the house).

I'm pretty pleased with that for our trip - none of the ones we love are closed. But DS is completely in love with the Autopia-style ride in WDW and we were so lolooking fwd to trying the DLP version, but am gutted that it's only open the afternoon we get there and the day we leave. At least he will get to ride it but he doesn't do many of the rides andt he could quite happily do thtqa one over and over again qall week. It wouldn't be so bad if it was one of the rides that were open all day but for some reason it often only seems to open at about 11am...
