November Car rental

Who are you renting your car from in November? Are any of the companies having really good deals? I know we don't NEED a car, but DH wants one, and we will be spending a day off property visiting family.

Right now we have a reservation with Dollar for a minivan for $280.46 for 11/9-11/17 which seems like a great deal to me, but if there's a better one out there I'd love to save some more $!!

How is Dollar to rent from? Any complaints?

if you update that with the promo code kiss2 you get it for 242 something. also use corporate code oi1054 and print out the orlando magicard from mousesavers.com and you get an extra free driver.

That's the price with the Kiss2 code (that's what it comes to with tax, etc.), but I didn't know about the extra driver part, but I'm not sure I want to drive , it's nice to relax and leave the driving to him.

the $280 is with the kiss2 code? When I just tried it, it says 242.68 (158.99 week plus one extra day 29.99 plus taxes)=242.68.

yeah, quoting myself, nevermind, I changed the return time on the reservations and it adds and extra day, making it 280.46. Must be the times you have it rented. Sorry

If you don't need it for the whole trip, there is a DOLLAR at the Grosvenor. You could take a bus to DTD and walk there and pick up the car.
THose extra days really add on. We got a INT for 7 days with Kiss2 for $124

We actually combined that with NAtional EA 3 day for $61.
So we'll use NAtional at airport - MCO TO DOLPHIN

I guess we don't NEED it for the whole trip, DH just WANTS it, lol. He's not a fan of riding on busses for long periods of time. To get to the parks yes, airport no...

We were going to switch cars half way through (we have a free car through Universal for the first part of our trip), but for the extra $50 DH would rather not spend time changing it. More time in the parks, or he's hoping, by the pool.

Since no one has said anything bad about Dollar, I guessing (hoping) no horror stories about them?

Can't wait! Two weeks from today!!!!

Your rate is very good. I also suggest going on Dollar.com and signing up for their Dollar Express program. It will put you on a shorter line at the airport. Also, be aware, when I rented from them in August, I had a minivan reserved, when I got to the counter, the clerk tried to upsell me to an extended size minivan, I said no. Low and behold, when we went to get our van, it was the extended size. So basically that's all they had left, but I guess they're supposed to try to upsell the customer and get some extra money out of it.

Got $183 with National EA. Thought that was high, but I am glad i grabbed it when I did.

I've made a reservation for 8 days in november through Alamo.
I have an Entertainment Book and registered my book through Entertainment.com
That gets you one discount going through them.
Then you add one of their coupons and get more off.

Needless to say, ive rented an intermediate SUV for 8 days in November for a little less than $250.

PS: to buy an entertainment book now is $9.99 through them. The coupons expire for most of the book by November, but the car rental stuff is good till year end.

Hi there! Just wondering if anyone has the Entertainment book and doesn't need the rental car coupons? We are traveling to Orlando at the end of November and from what I've heard most of the coupons expire in November except for the rental car coupons so not really in need of the entire book. Is anyone up for sharing?
