Tell me about it!

I planned a first trip for my in-laws who visited the first week of September. I also planned a first trip for a friend of my DD11, also for the first week of September (DD went along with them). Now I am working on trip planning for another in-law's family who are taking their first Disney trip the week before Thanksgiving.

Plus, I am currently planning a December trip for just DD and myself.

I used to think trip planning was fun. Now I am just exhausted from keeping track of a hundred different important dates, stalking the website for dining ADRs and FPs, trying to keep everyone's login info straight, and just the overall stress of trying to secure the impossible for everyone else.

My 6 year old niece is the biggest A&E fan of the bunch, and she is the one I REALLY wanted to get FP for, and couldn't. I also couldn't get 7DMT FP. I got them a CRT dinner, but had to split their party of 5 into 3 and 2. They are at the same time, so hopefully they can be seated together, but two girls are teenagers so they can sit by themselves if necessary. We also got the little one a BBB reservation, but not at an ideal time. Still, we're happy to have gotten one at all.

Now if I could just get A&E and 7DMT...

I am really happy that next year we are going on a cruise and only planning one park day, and that's a MNSSHP, so very little actual planning needed. I need a vacation from all these vacations.

Oh my Goodness, that does sound exhausting! We are going as a party of 7 and had to have our BOG dinner reservation split up into a party of 3 and a party of 4. Not sure how we're going to work that out if they can't put us together. The kids will be 7, 5, and 3. My 3 and 5 year old are the ones that want to meet A&E. I'm giving up hope on getting a FP but did see this morning that they are testing the paper FP again. I'm hoping it's extended to our dates so that we might have a chance of getting to see them without waiting an hour.

Keep trying people, I was able to snag FPs for 7DMT for 11/15 earlier this morning. This gives us 7DMT FPs for both our MK days.

I was able to get 3 Anna & Elsa FastPasses for 11/17. It really is a matter of stalking the website if it's really that important.

November 14th - 5:20 and 5:30

I was confused in this also. It will not delete your current FP+ until you actually choose new ones, so you can go in and check availability and then just back out if nothing is open.

And the easiest way to stalk is to change one member of your party to a different time than the rest. The odds of finding a 7DMT or A&E one at a time is much greater than a group. I've successfully found them one at a time and adjusted the times as they became available until they all match or overlap.
So once you have a single party member separate (I recommend doing this on an easier to get FastPass, such as Peter Pan) then you can change experience. You just hit close if nothing is available.

I have my SIL's group split into two because my niece is under 7 so she can't meet them alone. Should I still split them up into singles? Will it even allow me to make a single FP for her, do you know? TIA

Answered my own question LOL...I just went in and was able to split my niece off from everyone else. So now I can try for that one FP at a time for her, and then my SIL, if I can get them. Thank you!

I've read that it won't but my dd is 4 and it let me make a FP for just her. And yes, her bday is in my MDE account. Obv I am working to get us in an overlapping time but it definitely allowed me to book a FP under only her name for now.

Yup, I had my 5 year old separate as well. Obviously I wouldn't allow her to do the meet & greet (or any ride) by herself, but it worked to get us overlapping times.

I think everyone is using a special brand of pixie dust! I have tried the app, the website, moving 1 person at a time, re-selecting the entire day, trying early morning, mid morning, noon, afternoon, evening and midnight...I cannot find one AE for 11/16, 11/19, 11/21 or an earlier time on 11/22!

I have to say that I will look to change a time using the app on my phone vs. the app on the ipad and one will have a time available while the other doesn't. It's weird. I've even gone back and forth to check (the time showing was for 7dmt but still wasn't going to work in my plans so I didn't choose it)... It would show in my phone app over an over, but never popped up on ipad app. It did show on website. So now when I search I always try all 3.

Finally someone who has the same problem as me! I can't understand what I am doing wrong for AE and 7dmt. I started at exactly midnight and have checked multiple times every day since for the same days as you can nothing has come up, even for just 1-2 people! So bummed
