Me again. I was just wondering I would really like to go to Palo on thir cruise But I am a single mom and do not have another adult to go with. And I don't think it would be as much fun to go alone. Please let me know if someone else might have me along with ya.

I know we still have plenty of time before the cruise but I just wanted to ask. I am not sure how single parents accomplish Palo.

By the way Forgot to give my sons name and age. He is 9 now and will turn 10 on the cruise and his name is Nathan.

I am Traci and no one really needs to know my age . i hope to get to know everyone before the cruise. I am super excited and would love to do a FE exchange.

You bet we are! Jenn, Donna, and I all did it on our Wonder cruise in November, and speaking for myself and my family... we loved it!! My FE is hanging in my guest room, ready to be used again! I had so much fun making stuff for everyone. My DH, Stew, is excited to get Angels Baseball stuff this time for everyone since we got lots of Red Sox last time. And I'll look for Disneyland stuff too since that's our "home" away from home! I can't wait to get there next week for me and DD's birthdays... guess we're calling in sick to work/school! Woohooooo!!!

Good Morning!

After two years cruising the week after Thanksgiving with a great group, we've decided to change to this cruise with the different itinerary.

It will be me and my dh, Bruce. We don't know our cabin number yet, but it will be a cat 11 because they have the bed that faces side to side instead of bow to stern. Is someone keeping a list? (I haven't read all 19 pages yet.) What all plans have you got?

Jessalyn (Averysmommy) is keeping track of everything so far. It's so exciting to see so many joining the thread! I'm excited.

We don't have any plans yet for excursions. I know we'll want to do a snorkel tour maybe to Trunk Bay on St. John. No idea for St. Croix yet!

Hey all, I'm still here.... just had a super busy January with Girl Scout Camporee, DD7s birthday, DD7 also in a Talent Show and the list goes on.

YES, the FE exchange was awesome. It just adds a little extra magic. My FE hangs in our "Bonus Room" (as they call it here in FL), which is our playroom that is totally decorated with classic Mickey and has black framed photos from all our Disney cruises.

And, well, we LOVED the Red Sox stuff last time .... we just moved to FL from Boston about 18 months ago. We got soooo much great stuff.... really looking forward to doing it again for this cruise.

Hope everyone is staying warm. We're just coming out of a cold spell here. We had 2 nights of a hard frost which destroyed a lot of landscaping, not to mention those citrus crops! But, this weekend we're back up in the 70s, heading to 80 by mid-week. Yipee!!

Long time no speak. We are still planning on going on this cruise in November but my DH is still out of work and unless he gets a job soon I fear we may have to cancel I hate that we may have to cancel!!!!

If we do go, we will absolutely do FE's, we had a blast doing them the last time!!

We are also on Deck 2 but we wanted to go as inexpensively as possible. Hopefully, there will be a nice upgrade for us too.

Well I will most certainly keep my fingers crossed for you!! Yikes. At least you've got a while to go before the cruise, you won't have to make a decision for a few months yet since final payment is awhile away. I can totally understand if you had to, though.

but I see you are a Daisy Duck fan!!! Me too!! My Golden Retriever that passed away last year at 13 was named Daisy for her. I have had a Daisy Duck keychain from WDW since I was about 16. Every time I went I'd get a new one, exactly like the old one. It's one of those clear, small, square ones. Well, last November they had no more keychains like that at all!!!! WAAAHHH!!! So now I have to keep my old one, crack and all. Fooey. One of the highlights of the cruise was being able to see Daisy Duck so much. We were walking to CC, and had already had pictures with Captain Jack, and with Donald (DH's favorite)... I promised the kids we were done, and who is up ahead but Daisy! The kids started to whine about getting to the beach already, and DH said, "Hey! Do you know how far we've come to get here? And do you have any idea how much your mother loves Daisy Duck? You WILL take a picture with her, and you will smile... because this is the one thing that is important to your mom!"

They quit whining after that.

Fingers crossed for your dh. Being out of work is tough - whacks the ego and self confidence as well as the wallet. Finding a new job requires more work than working at the old one, sadly

I was price checking our cruise today and it looks like the price has dropped slightly since I booked a few weeks ago. It is only down about $20 for the 4 of us (Cat 5), so I am not going to bother my TA yet, but maybe this is a sign that it is going to drop further. The difference may be greater in other categories so you might want to check it out!

Hey Guys....just wanted to say hello. My house is super quiet too. My son is with his dad for the weekend. But his dog is here driving me crazy. Has anyone started looking at excursions? I'm nervous the ones I want to do wont be avail. But I did order two fish extenders already. They are going to look super cute and I am so excited. Its hard to keep everything to myself. Not sure how to make it 8 more mnths without telling DS.

Well, my SIL and BIL have booked this cruise too (I'm so excited ). So job or not job we have to go on this cruise

I'm in Vegas right now, and checked out the Disney Character Warehouse here. I usually do a couple times a year...this time they had not only the usual DLR stuff, but WDW and CC shirts too! I've never seen CC stuff at any of the warehouses before. So if you live near one, go check it out!

We just got back from DL last night. While in the area, we went to the Character Warehouse and found DD some Minnie Mouse and Princess shirts for the cruise. We also just booked our air with frequent flyer miles, so we are really going! 263 days to go and counting.

I don't think we have character warehouses here in texas but i dont know. I would love to get a dcl mickey to add to my surprise your going on a disney cruise thing I am doing for my son.

The shirts i picked up all say Disneyland on them. When we had a temporary Character Warehouse in Utah, they did have a couple DCL items, but not much. They were shirts or other stuff that DCL no longer sells, so no cruise Mickey. If you really want a cruise Mickey plush, you might be able to get one by calling WDW's DelivEARS or post on the DCL forum and someome may be willing to pick one up for you.
