Hi Everyone...I just stumbled across this thread. We will be sailing the Eastern Carrib to celebrate my twins turning 7 years old on Dec. 3rd. I'll be with my 3 young kids, hubby and my parents.

I never thought I'd ever do a cruise--normally hubby and I like more *quieter* type vacations but we love the virgin islands and my kids love Disney so we thought we would give it a try before they outgrew it.

Welcome! We have a big group from this meet thread with folks of all generations, including lots of kids. We are doing FE, Secret Mickey, the guys have a group going, and the gals are doing Pink Champagne Girls. You can participate in as little or as much as you want. We have a really active FB group if you do FB. Just look up Fantastic Fantasy Voyage 11/30/13 and ask to join-just explain you are on this board. If you can't find it, just pm me for the link.

Looks like I found the group. We will be with you on this cruise. It will be our fourth or fifth depending on whether we get a last minute deal this coming April/May trip. It will be our third ship of the four with two on the Wonder, one on the Dream and then the Fantasy this November. As you can see by my signature we are old hands at doing things WDW. This is our first 7 day cruise and we will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, our 40th anniversary of our first visit to WDW and my 60th birthday. I haven't had a chance to read the complete thread but I did see you are doing a FE, but we'll pass on that. With a 7 day cruise I imagine someone is planning a meet up or two so we will have to try and do that.

We are a little more quiet here but VERY active on the FB group. However I will work to keep coming here as I do not want ANYONE feeling left out if they are not on FB. If anyone want the link, just PM me, or just let me know. I'm back from my cruise and feeling better now. (was quiet for a few days with a bad cough) so I'm here to get you all going!

Hi Valibaby!! How exciting for your twins to get a cruise for their birthday! I will be celebrating my much older birthday the same day. Since this is your first cruise, please feel free to ask any questions you may have! We have a very friendly and helpful bunch of mostly veteran cruisers here. Once you cruise DCL, you will be hooked!!

Welcome aboard! This is our second cruise, and much like you we never thought we'd cruise either, as we like quiet beach vacations far away from any crowds or hustle and bustle of a big city. We sailed on the Dream in Dec 2011 and really loved it. My son will be 7 when we cruise on this one too. Are your twins boys or girls? There are a few in this group with kids in the same age group and I really helps my son when he knows we "know" someone else there he can play with or look forward to meeting. You'll end up falling in love with DCL just like we did. Look forward to chatting with you.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself as we are now 99% sure that we'll be sailing with you all on the 11/30/13 Fantasy Cruise! I've been holding off because we just weren't sure it was going to happen. But it's in the bag!

My name is Kerri and my DH's name is Jim. This will be our 3rd cruise (the previous 2 were aboard the Magic). It's our first time on the Fantasy and our first time on the Eastern route.

Very excited and already getting cruise anxiety! Yikes! Still trying to put some travel details together. Where will we stay the night before the cruise...no idea! How will we get to the Port...no idea! How will we get to WDW for a few days after...no idea!!!

But, we'll be there!!

PS....does anyone else find communal dining the most awkward part of the cruise??? We always get put with newlyweds of whom we have nothing in common with! We've been married for 13 years!!!

We have booked the Oct 11, 2014 Southern Caribbean cruise as well, there are a lot of excited people on that sailing, the Disboard and FB page is exploding with excitment. Sailing DCL and making DCL friends is a great hobby!

Welcome to our group! We will be sailing with our daughter who is just a little bit older than you. She will be 3 years 8 months when we cruise, maybe they can play together. I have to admit that we are not familiar with FE, other that occasional mentions in some posts that I have read. We are on deck 11, and I have read that the doors are different. I would love to hear more about how it works.
