Sorry I have been gone for awhile. I had to deal with a death in the family and other issues. It has been a tough couple of months. I cannot wait for the vacation.

Disney has released the dates and prepurchase tickets for the Halloween and Christmas Parties on their website.

SPIRIT airlines opened up Nov for booking yesterday!
We got our return flights with miles points for monday the 12th! YAY!

So jealous! One day I will get there, though probably not until I have grandchildren! I missed my NJ wk opportunity 2 years ago. The next time the 31st falls close enough to it, Isabella will likely be at a point in school that I won't want to pull her out.

We are going on the 2nd. I had convinced my hubby to let us go to WDW for a day before the cruise, since I had nonexpiring tickets still left over from years ago. Then I fork out almot $200 buck on tickets Oh my. Haven't told him yet, maybe it wont' come up in the conversation We have gone to MVMCP twice, so a first for my kids. We can't go to WDW in October due to state testing and I doubt we would ever go in September so thought we shouldn't pass up the opportunity. We can sleep in a bit on Saturday morning.

Then I fork out almot $200 buck on tickets Oh my. Haven't told him yet, maybe it wont' come up in the conversation We have gone to MVMCP twice, so a first for my kids. We can't go to WDW in October due to state testing and I doubt we would ever go in September so thought we shouldn't pass up the opportunity. We can sleep in a bit on Saturday morning.

You're going to love MNSSHP! In my opinion it blows MVMCP away! We've done both. I keep thinking about doing MNSSHP, but we've done it twice, and the money for the 4 of us could be another excursion. LOL We did buy tix for the Nov 2 party for my sister & her husband as a birthday gift for her! (We're cruising w/ both my sisters & their families, our mom, grandparents & aunt.)

We're going to WDW 2 days before & 2 days after. Cannot wait! This will be our longest vacation ever.

Same here I love MNSSHP way more than MVMCP (but I will give that one a second shot sometime, won't work out this trip!). I'm so excited that we got tickets for 10/31 this time too, the other two times were in Sept so it felt a little out of season, lol!

We LOVE MNSSHP. We've been 4 or 5 times, I think. We've done MVMCP several times, too, and it's good, but not as good as MNSSHP. I'm excited to do it on Halloween, but I know it's going to be a bit crowded. If we get tired of the crowd, we can leave. I hope you're able to go at some point. It's really worth it.

We're going to be at the port on the 2nd, so we chose the 31st. We're driving 1/2 way on the 30th and the rest of the way on the 31st, so it will be good to get out and enjoy the park that night. Not sure what my youngest will wear, though....

Wow, he beat us out too! We fly out the night of the 27th and get in super early the 28th, then will stick around for the marathon and head back on the 11th. Even that is pushing it for us... I'll have to take a couple days off without pay since I need a couple days throughout the year as well for various things, but it will be SO worth it!

We are reaching WDW on the 31st, but decided against doing MNSSHP....but we have 7:30 ADRs at Narcoossees on the 31st and California Grill on the 2nd, so we should be able to catch the fireworks!
We've done both parties as well, and love both, but I agree MNSSHP is a bit better...we ADORE the parade..but then the snow on Main Street is soooo awesome....

We will be spending the 1st in Epcot/DHS....31 and 2 are MK since we are staying at BLT

I have started a little shopping and found a couple of cute cruise-y type skirts for cruise casual....the crinkle look that doesn't matter how long it sits in a suitcase!

For the 2 day post cruise i think I will give DD and DS each their choice of parks to see. DD wants Epcot since we have not visited that park for several years. (2007 on the 25th opening anniversary)

Dont forget that post crusie at epcot is the last weekend of food and wine festival.

Still thinking about the MNSSHP I really want to do this but... I am driving down by myself and dd and dh are flying one way. Then we all drive back togther this is still cheaper then all of us flying and less stress on time we will get to FL. So if I wanted to go I would have to go alone.
