We could get custom rubber bracelets if we'd like to, but I think we'd have to move pretty quickly on them. What do ya'll think??? They would be about $2 each, I think.

OK - here is a thought. I still haven't figured out a FE gift & just did some quick research and found some decent wristbands for a good price. How about I just gift them to everyone (FE & non-FE) and we'll have something to recognize each other if we want.

I could get them into the FE pockets the first evening & anyone not doing FE who wants them could just PM me before we go and I'll drop off ones for them as well.

I'm thinking just a plain "I Love DISboards.com" type of text that we can all reuse in the future at the parks or on future cruises.

Sound OK? Any thoughts?

While I think that custom rubber bracelets are an awesome idea. I have read that the crew members do not like disboard members, as many of them think they deserve special treatment. Not sure if we should be wearing bracelets that annouce the board.

**Personally,** I'd rather have one that is cruise-specific. While I do love the DIS, I like to have mementos from my specific cruises and that would be a great one. And, honestly, I don't think it would be bad if we ended up with 2 different ones.

When I looked into them, I looked at about 100 of them. If we include those that are not doing the FEs (which I think is a GREAT idea), I'd say 200. Is anyone thinking about getting some small ones for the kids?? I know that the little ones will want one, but the adult bracelets are too big for anyone under 12 or so.

Yes, I've heard that, as well. I'm glad that I didn't include that on our logo, actually.

I have NEVER encountered a problem with wearing DIS items or discussing the DIS with cast members. We have been on 5 cruises (total of 43 days on board) and have had t-shirts, lanyards, door magnets & wristbands that have mentioned the DIS - not once has it been a problem in any way.

If there have been rude, entitled DISers on DCL, I would like for the nice, polite ones to make themselves known so that any crew that have been upset would know that they are NOT the norm.

On the Panama cruise, nearly half the ship were DISboard members. The cast were consistently friendly and seemed to be having as much fun as we were.

I have wristband souvenirs from 5 cruises - sadly, they sit in a box with no real reason to use them again. The suggestion for a general DIS band was with the idea that they could be used for other things like a trip to WDW or DL. If the general feeling is for cruise specific, I could do that - I just liked the idea of using them again. If y'all would rather I NOT do them, that is fine. I was hoping to order them today as I had a discount, but I will hold off since it seems some would rather I didn't.

Pam ... I think that whatever you want to do is just fine. The truth is, if we get one that is DIS and one that is cruise-specific, it's all good. I think that the bracelets are a fantabulous idea, and if you'd like to do them, go for it. It won't hurt to have more than one if someone else does them, as well.

I heard once that it was going to be Brent cool1, but then, I heard that he was going to be off the ship for our cruise and that it would be Ray. My guess is that it's one of those 2. I would really prefer Brent!!!

This sounds great too since I don't plan on making Tshirts (sorry! not my thing). Kids sizes would really be great, I know my DD would be so sad if she couldn't wear them.

We are not making the t-shirts either. I don't like matching everyone. I think that goes back to childhood where my mom forced us to dress alike (and I'm much older than my siblings).

I'd love the bracelets and would pay whoever got them since we aren't doing FE.

I'm afraid that they are only adult size, it would have cost quite a bit more to split the order across sizes. (At this site, the difference is only 1" of circumference, so I suspect even the "child" size would be large for a small child)

I found what looked like a good deal at Imprint.com (24hourwristbands.com), but it turned into something of a customer service nightmare. The price they show you on the screen is NOT complete - in small print they are charging you an extra $10 "handling" for the 100 FREE wristbands AND they charge an unspecified tax/customs/handling/insurance fee. This increased my order total cost by 36%! You only find this out when you receive your emailed receipt. I then spend over 1.5 hours on hold and then a LOT of arguing to get them to credit the extra charges. It will be interesting to see if they really do credit my card or not... I definitely do NOT recommend them if anyone else is looking to buy there.

I would love to have and pay for 2 of the electon escape wristbands as well,sounds like a great keepsake,but we are not participating in the Fish extender.We are in 7680,if we could find an easy way to get them,Whatever works for you,storms71,I´m happy to do,just let me know.
