November 21, 2012: Giving Thanks(giving) for a DREAM come true!

Just moved our "dummy" on-board booking for 2012 to the 4-night Thanksgiving cruise. We just sailed on the Dream for spring break (3/13 4-night Bahamian cruise) and can not wait to return. We simply adore this ship!

I look forward to getting to know our fellow cruisers as we "dream" and plan for this holiday!

We were on your cruise for Spring Break this year and it was so much fun!!! Right now we're on the Dream for our summer vacation and thinking about taking this one as well. As soon as we decide, I'll let you know.

We booked this cruise while aboard the Magic in the Med last month. My sister and her two DS (11 & 9) will also be joining us - its their first cruise!! Hoping to get my parents to come along (they are booked in our rooms) - hoping for a wonderful family Thanksgiving - Disney Style!!

Looking forward to "meeting" everyone over the next year.

Any interest in trying to meet up prior to -- or during -- the Sail Away Celebration so our children can get to know each other before heading to the Club, Lab, and Edge that first evening? Also, I've seen some other Disney Cruise Meets threads have sub-threads for the kids to chat beforehand. We don't have DIS log-ins for my kids (yet) but would happily sign them up if it's something your crew is interested in doing.

Thanks- sounds great!!! I can't wait to see all of the holiday decorations at the resort and on the cruise!! We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Villas before the cruise- we are DVC owners- anyone else??

We are also DVC owners. ("Welcome home!") We stayed at Kidani Village in early Janury and will be at Jambo House this coming January. I'll try and get some good photos of the decorations for you. Somehow I forgot to take photos of the lobby this year, but it was incredible!

OH THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!! We haven't stayed "home" at AKV since 2008- so very excited, we stayed at BLT and SSR since we added on.

Hi. We were planning to sail on the Fantasy in June 2012 but just switched it to Thanksgiving 2012! So hi everyone! I will say that depending on what the 2013 itineraries look like, we may jump ship again, but for now we're thinking of Turkey Day in the Bahamas!

I'm Cindy D., wife to Gary, mom to Nathan and Zachary (the N and Z that make me a DisneyMom). The boys will be 16 and 15 when we sail. This will be our 7th Disney Cruise - we sailed Alaska in June of this year.

Hi everyone, I just returned from vacation and found out my friend booked us on this cruise with several others. I am so excited to have Thanksgiving with the mouse and see all the decorations. What a wonderful surprise that was.
Has anyone thought about doing the fish extenders on this cruise, we would love to join in on the fun.

I still have to book mine, waiting for DH and my vacation approval, probably won't be until around January. But we are definitely going, sp just have to wait for that.

I just saw that you went to Alaska this year, what sailing were you on? We went in May, I think the 17th and had a great time and the weather was beautiful, we took a gamble on it being so early but it worked out just fine. I had always wanted to do Alaska and was so excited that Disney picked it up. I don't think I could have asked for a better trip than we had. How was your trip?

Unfortunately we didn't do Disney- we did NCL- Norwegian cruise line. Wasn't that impressed- but Alaska was stunning!!!
