It's interesting that the week that straddles Oct/Nov has different EMH than every other week-wonder if it has to do with removing the Halloween decorations and putting up the Christmas ones at MK?

Ugh...why does MK close at 4:30 on Thursday Nov 30? With the Christmas parties and this, that leaves only 2 days of our trip that we will have full access to MK (and the night time show).

That and the fact that the Star Wars fireworks at HS will likely be ditched for a Christmas show is making me rethink our timing.

I am still in a stupor over why Disney would have their CM party during the holiday season, and on a typical hard ticket night? I'm not saying the CM's dont deserve a special party. I'm just shocked at the timing of it! We fly in on the 30th, so I have an invested interest. Lol! We had to switch our plans up when we found out there was not. MVMCP that night, and that the park was closed to boot!

Or possibly because of the Tues and Wed party dates that week. It's the only week with that combination.

Yes, that's a good plan. In the linked thread, there are posts that describe how last year's CM Party day was a light crowd day for MK.

I am also hoping for later HS park hours on the 30th, since MK will be closed! But then again, we are taking the earliest flight we can get, so I guess an early night wouldn't be a bad thing! Making that lemonade!!

Yes, the 4:30 closure has been a fantastic day to visit MK in the past. I wish it were the week before Thanksgiving again this year, instead...when I'm going to be there.

That's what we've been thinking too, go straight to MK when we get in because it will be a light day. I'm having a hard time convincing my hubby though! We plan to do the Sunday party, so his thinking is to not waste time on Thursday. I just think it will be low crowds! Plus were stAying at the Contemporary, and I just can't imagine not going to MK, because it's right there!!

Do we really think AK will be closing so early every night with Pandora being open?

Or will they have just Pandora open later than 7pm?

Its such a busy time I can not imagine they wont have it open later than 7pm.

we were there last year when this event was on November 17th. Great day to be at MK, crowds were low. We did wait a bit too late to leave and get on a bus to HS; would have been better to leave ~ 3PM.

that week there were only 3 MVMCP instead of 4 so kind of evened out. We always get PH as we travel in the Fall when MK has the parties 4 nights/week so gives us flexiblity.
