November 2015....The countdown begins!!

3 weeks from tomorrow I will be spending 10 glorious days at my happy place!!! It is bitter sweet- I want to just be there but I don't want it to come and go either!

I feel the same way! I may need to find a support group when I get back. I am glad the holidays follow so that will keep me distracted. But yay! We're going to WDW!

I feel this way too. Part of my excitement is getting ready and watching the packages from Etsy roll in with all of the cute things for my girls to wear. Thank goodness I am on maternity leave and can intercept packages before my husband gets home

We leave in 16 days!!!! Our next two weekends are full of birthday parties and Halloween celebrations. Then we have Halloween and the next day we are on our way!!!

16 days and we're back in the world!

We're already planning our next two trips already. One in the spring to Aluani and Disneyland and then Christmas in WDW!

I received a UOC for Jan-Jun. I've been pricing out March for us. Could do spring break with the kids, or our anniversary without the kids...hmmmm decisions, decisions. LOL

I had everything set up beautifully, all my park days and ADR's, and then I found out Park Fare changed their dinner menu Not totally but they did take off 3 things that both DS's and I would have eaten and added more seafood, which only DH eats. We've never done dinner there and I was really looking forward to it: now I have to decide if I cancel, or keep it and just basically eat salad and dessert lol??

Well, if you are going for the characters, I would keep it. I know how it goes with family who will only eat certain things....seems like a waste of money...

Speaking of changes, has everyone heard that the Cmas parade is taping Nov 10-13 (I think those are the dates) now! Not a huge deal, but it affects some of my plans... Early breakfast not going to be into an "empty" park, no castle photo, probably no FoF parade that day.... Par for the course this trip..... Still waiting to see if they change November hours and we have less than a month to go!!

Also, some things are done over and over until it is perfect. I remember several years ago, we were there when Jonas brothers were, and they sang their song over and over again before our breakfast at CP, during it, and after.

I would just like to know what to expect, but I don't think we will know. I think I will plan to do FoF parade on a different MK day that we are there. Maybe I will plan to view some of their taping and will get to see a bit of the Cmas parade..lt could be fun, but you won't get to see an entire parade since it is taped in sections....you would probably see one part over and over until you get bored and leave.

If people have their FoF FPs cancelled, we would know for sure, but it is Disney... They could cancel day of.

31 days here. I went out to find "midweight" shirts to pack today. Last Nov we froze to death with lows in the 50s the week before Thanksgiving...this year its looking like 80s?! Geez. I was hoping for 65 ...perfect temp for park going

Back in the day, I remember you had to register for the taping, and I thought you also had to commit to stay for a certain window of time (like 3 hours or something). Do they still do that? It's been so long since we've gone in December that I stopped following all the logistics of it.

50s in the evenings or during the day? And are you saying they are predicting it will be in the 80s...Or it's been a warmer fall in 80s? Just asking bc I'm also trying to decide what to pack.
