November 2015....The countdown begins!!

Not going to MVMCP this year but feeling your excitement about wanting Nov. to get here! Will it be your first time doing the Xmas party? We've done it twice, last time was 2012. Love the toy soldiers in the parade!!

Yes I went to MVMCP in 2013 and 2014 and loved it! It is a must do now. The parade is awesome. I love the scents they pump out on the floats!

I'm questioning my decision now. It'd be $345 for one night at the MK. We're going for 7 nights total, at a moderate, with dining (and park hoppers). Ugh! That'd $345 would cover our gas there and back. Not sure I can pull the trigger on it

We're not doing any parties this year, but I just looked at the ticket prices for both as I saw a thread saying they went up quite a bit. And, they did!! Seems like a bigger increase than previous years and (again) they're taking something away from MNSSHP. Supposedly replacing it, but there's speculation it'll be at an extra cost........anyway, the MVMCP price seems quite high to me but that's just my opinion plus I'm partial to the Halloween party. It is nice to say you've done the parties, and there is something special about the Xmas one. Hard decision, I know! LOL just felt like adding my 2 cents, I know I wasn't any help!

LOL we did the Halloween party last year on 9/1. Had a great time but it was odd being all Halloweeny on Labor Day!

We did the first party last year on Nov 7. My son wore his Santa hat for 3 days before the party. It was great to watch MK switch from Halloween to Christmas. The party was so much fun. Didn't feel weird at all.

We did the MVMCP last year, went to the November 30th party. We really enjoyed it! The parade was great, lines were short and the hot chocolate/apple juice and cookies were great. Although we had fun, it wasn't something we feel we need to do again. Felt like we saw and did everything we wanted to. Probably the only way we'd go back is if the kids really wanted to. Definitely recommend going if you haven't yet though!!!!!

Yay, we booked today for 11/15 to 11/21! First time ever for DS who will turn 4 the second day of our trip, and first time for my husband as well. Will be attending the MVMCP our very first night on 11/15. Excited for the hours to come out so I can solidify our daily plans! I haven't been to WDW since I was 9 (25 years ago!) so this will be a whole new experience...I'm already addicted to the planning!

Is everyone busy studying the hours? I am excited that the park hours are uo and the website best park picks are starting. I am making a chart of all of the different sites for my week. Phase tell me if I am forgetting one?
Going to compare....easy WDW, undercover tourist, touring plans, WDW prep (she does her worst day choice so will figure that in instead of best)

Does anyone want to share the touring plans picks? I am going the first week of November, I will share my little chart when it's done.

Studying for sure. Funny to see the differences between Touring & WDW prep. On one day, AK is a 1 at Touring, but not a recommended park on WDW Prep

The hours totally threw off my plan! The one day we were gonna relax in the morning (maybe go to a park) and then hit HS for lights and dinner...it closes at 4! Changing everything now, glad this all comes out before our ADRs

Running around all morning but I can't wait to sit at my desk and check out the hours! We will be there 11/3-11/8 but are running in the Wine and Dine Half on the 7th so we only got a 3 day park hopper. Really going to plan and make the most of those 3 days!!

Major adjustments needed for my schedule! I don't understand why there would be no Wishes the entire week of Thanksgiving? Do folks here think this is the final schedule? Anyway.....working on a new plan according to the Extra Magic Hours! Oh, and only one Fantasmic show the entire week of Thanksgiving as well. Is this typical?

Ok I joined touring plans, it was useful on my last trip. However it seems easy WDW was more accurate last year. WDW prep bases her worst parks on those that have EMH and I think (?) that's her only reason....

I don't see the park hours for November listed - where am I supposed to be looking??

I I got them form various websites....did you find? Sorry I didn't see this until now. So is anyone looking at the first week of November? I've been looking at the suggested parks and for those that assign an overall daily crowd number, I did an avg. so I used undercover tourist, easy WDW and touring plans. Dates 11/1-8.
The average for each day is as follows:
11/1. 5
11/2. 5
11/3. 4
11/4. 3
11/5. 4
11/6. 4.6
11/7. 6.3
11/8. 6.3

It feels like touring plans low balls and easy WDW high balls it. If you all know of another site that offers a numerical value for the day please tell me and I will redo! I am having. Lot of trouble reconciling the various park day recommendations as some are so different form one another.

That is most definitely not the final schedule. They'll have Wishes and more than likely Fantasmic will be every night. Also, especially for the week of Thanksgiving, park hours will change - earlier openings and later closings. If you go to easywdw you can look at last years' Nov. hours and get an idea of what the final hours looked like Some of the hours will change as close as 2 weeks prior.

So bummed to find out that TL is closed all of November. This is my first time getting water park passes and now I'm worrying it was a waste
