November 2015 Park Hours Extended

We are going to WDW the first of November and the hours for MK seem to be closing very early 8PM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday & Saturday closes at 10PM with no extra magic hours for MK. It doesn't appear any special events are occurring during these dates.

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or educated guess if Disney is going to extend the park hours?

There are EMH from n Wednesday the fourth 8p to 10 p.

We were there last year the same week and they actually extended MK day of twice.

we actually get in around 11PM the 4th so we will miss that day. good to know. hard to plan RSVP's and soon FP's when park hours are changing. thanks

Hmmm, so I have Wishes DP for 7pm on 11/5
Anyone know how likely it is based on past experiences that Wishes won't be at 8pm that night if park hours are extended?

that's the issue we had. I changed it to saturday because I was not certain the park hours would change

Well I want it at 7pm, if Wishes moves later in the night and then the DP moves later into the night we probably can't do it.
My kids are to little, was hoping for the early Wishes, never seen one at 8pm - so was hoping we could all experience it together.

We booked ours for Saturday with the later hours. No kids!

Nothing is going on in MK that weekend...but the race is still that week. They're probably anticipating having to heavily staff other places, and therefore trying to conserve in others.

I am expecting MK hours for the first week of Nov to be extended.

We were there last year and MK EMHs following Halloween (Nov 1) went through 1 or 2 am, because 7DMT caught fire due to fireworks and reopened at midnight. What an absolutely cold and packed night that was! I know it fell on a Sat, however, I still think hours will be extended again this year.

Also, Tues Nov 4, 2014 kicked off the castle lighting and the Christmas decorations were up. Again, another packed night. And then it went into MVMCP and Osborne Christmas lights on Fri, Nov 7.

...so I am sure it will be equally busy and exciting as last year

So anyone with experience on this...if they extend the MK hours on 11/5 and Wishes changes, will I get notification about the dessert party time changing or would Wishes stay at 8pm with extended hours.
I would love the kids to see the castle lighting show too! Hoping for first one before 11/7

Still no change in MK hours the first week of November. I find it odd that MK would close that early in November. Maybe in Feb or end of Jan but I wouldn't think November would be closed that early.

I wonder if anyone who goes regularly to Jersey week can say whether 8pm closing most nights is normal

I find it out, that only 1 night has EMH past 8pm. I've never seen Wishes that early before but if it stays 8pm, at least the kids will be awake for it.
