From Disneys Food blog
While we knew before that the restaurants would be opening in late 2012, we now know that Be Our Guest Restaurant and Gaston’s Tavern will be open for those of you hitting the parks during Christmas break! Yep — according to the Disney Parks Blog, “we’ll have plenty to celebrate this holiday season, including the openings of…Be Our Guest Restaurant [and] Gaston’s Tavern….”

For Disney World, the “holiday season” means anywhere between mid-November to the end of December, but my fingers are crossed that the openings will be a bit earlier!

I finally booked our tickets today woo hoo...couldn't wait for southwest it was driving me crazy that i could make my dining reservations before my flight reservations. We are going Nov 22nd -Dec 2.:cheer2: It finally seems more real....lol

I read a rumor on the Resorts page about someone talking to a CM about Free Dining for Oct-Dec in a few weeks...... That would be wonderful if its true!

That's been my thoughts since they released the last FD offer. The current offer is good through the end of September and has to be booked by May 18th. Don't they usually release the next offer within a week or so of one ending? And surely they wouldn't just release one for October and not include at least November. :confused3 Oh... let's all wish for some pixie dust together! Ready... 1... 2...3! :wizard:

I just got the mail and my Southwest Rapid Rewards cc came! Now im buying a pizza(not the healthiest I know) for dinner and that will be my first purchase! Then just gotta wait on my points so I can book my flights when they open :hyper:

Woohoo!!! I bet that pizza will be yummy!!!!!! ;)

There is also a room discount available from June 15 - August 14 that must be book by June 14. So if nothing comes out for our dates after the May discount has expired maybe when the June discount expires. Here's hoping for FREE DINING!!! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

I was so excited about our trip to WDW, a 1st for my children. I waited a few months to book airfare as my travel agent suggested. I just recently started looking and it's SO EXPENSIVE! I need 5 seats out of Newark or Philly, one way on Nov. 4th. (We'll also be visiting grandparents so we'll fly home from another airport.) Any suggestions?

Why can't November get here faster?!

I'm with all of you hoping for free dining. It would be great to offset some of the cost of flying down.

Oh, Mommyof3princesses, I'm listed twice in the trip dates list. My trip this year is November 13-18th, staying at AS Sports. (My trip from last time is listed as Nov.11. )

Praying??? :rotfl:

I'm watching and waiting myself. I usually fly AirTran but they haven't released their flight schedule that far out. Besides that, my hubby insists on non-stop flights which makes it tougher.

Good luck!

I guess my years of gushing about WDW have finally been heard by my older sister. She and her SO are now planning on joining us. Now we have me, my hubby, and our three kids, plus my parents and my sis & her SO.

I've already warned her that this is not a vacation where we'll be sleeping in!

I could just cry :sad::sad::sad::sad:

I was so excited to book my trip that I didn't really think about my options and so I booked Nov 19 - 24th. Seemed like a great idea at the time, airfare just came out and was really reasonable.

Sitting here today looking at the crowd calendar it dawns on me that I could have booked Nov 21 - 27th - ultimately giving us an extra day, and still only having my daughter miss two days of school. To top if off, crowds would be lower on Sunday and Monday so that we wouldn't be dealing with crowd levels of 9 the entire stay AND we may have had the option to hit the MVMCP too.

I called Jetblue to see if there was any chance to change the dates and was told there would be a $100 fee per ticket :scared1: Just could kick myself right now.

Is there anyone else not booked yet because they are waiting on a discount or am I the only one?

Hi! DH, DD 6 and I going Nov 10th thru 17th (possibly 18th if our wait list comes thru :worried: ) and I wondered if we could be added to the list. We're staying at BLT and we're so........ excited!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I was going to mention Airtran or Southwest. Neither airline has released past NOV 2nd yet, but will soon. End of May. Good Luck, I'm waiting for the new schedule to be released so I can book my flights.

I wish I could just decide on a resort and stay there. Right now I'm booked at Pop but I'm seriously considering a LM room at AofA or POR in a Royal Room. The only way I can do a Royal Room is if free dining is offered in Moderates that week. If I stay at Pop and they offer free QSDP I'll have to upgrade to the Reg Dindding Plan. If we switch to AofA I know there is likely no chance of free dining. DD(3) really loves the princesses right now so it would seem as a no brainer if it wasn't so far from the food court. DH was medically discharged from the Corp with a knee injury. It seems like such a long walk for him where as if we stay at Pop last fall we can get pretty close. Ugh!!! Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!!!
We are staying 9 nights and I have basically got my ADR's figured out but can't decide between Raglan Road or WCC for my last dinner. We love WCC but DD(3) seems not to eat much there and pay more attention to the hobby horses and lincoln logs. The menu at Raglan appeals to us and it would be something new, I'm just leary of what to do. I think having to make all of these plans so far in advance gives me way to much time to second guess myself. :hyper:

I think southwest pushed their date of release to June. It was killing me that I could make my dining reservations before I could make flight reservations. I finally just booked delta on Friday. It was down $100 a ticket from the price they had on tuesday afternoon.

I hope all those waiting for Southwest to open flights for Nov and Dec don't get burned in the process. I have watched the ticket prices for the JetBlue flights we are taking go up steadily as more seats are sold

When they were released, they were a total of $380 for 2 people round trip. Due to a snafu with Betsy's license, we had to wait to get the tickets, and wound up paying $481 for 2 round trip, and now they are up to $567. Looking at what Southwest currently offers for that time of the month say in Sept or Oct, we still got a better deal going via JetBlue if those prices stay consistent in Nov.
