11/4 can't come quick enough....DW surprised me with a new suitcase yesterday to replace the large outdated, wornout one the I had...I keep reading and rereading the thread about Wilderness Lodge to make sure I didn't miss anything so that I can make the most of it....Wife really wants a new lens for her camera for Christmas...I am thinking of ordering it this week to get it here to surprise her with for the trip...
DD (6) is starting to ask lot of ??? about planes...she has never been on one so it will be a major experience for her...

We stayed at WL last September (2011) and loved it! Are you going to try to be the Flag family? If you forget to ask during check-in, you can go to the front desk any time and ask. Our 5 year old DGD LOVED the plane ride down last April. We had taken things to keep her busy, but she was fascinated by the shade going up and down on the window! She did play on my iPad a little, but the shade going up and down every few seconds was what she loved on the trip down. On the way back, she colored and played iPad. She wasn't nervous or anything, but curious about the airplane itself. I'm sure you've already planned lots of fun activities for your DD for the plane. It's such a novelty, they can't really conceptualize what it's going to be like. Good that she's asking questions so you can alleviate any nervousness for her. Good luck!

Wow! I've never heard of them closing a thread of a DISigner. Can you see if another DISigner can do something similar on short notice? They are usually really good at that sort of thing.

You're not chicken, you just want to enjoy your days before your trip. No use borrowing trouble before you have to.

Anyway.... so last week i started with tingling in my hands and wrists then it slowly moved up my arms and i went to the er on saturday because it was from my neck down.... I am scared no one knows what its from or why it is there... ACK!!!!!!!! Im going back to the dr today

Thanks for all the well wishes on getting better. I'm at the stage where I'm coughing up a lung every few minutes which gives me a headache, but I think that's progress. Could be a lot worse! Hope everyone else is doing better too.

When you check in online, they have your packet and KTTW cards ready to go. Even if your room isn't ready, they have everything done so you can get to the parks that much quicker. Sometimes when you come in on the ME with lots of families getting off at the same time, it becomes crowded to check in. There is a separate line for those who have done online check in and is usually the quicker option. If you stay deluxe, they actually meet the ME and walk you into the resort! Some people feel if you use online check in you may not get your room requests met, but I've heard it both ways, so I don't think it effects that part of it. I have done it every year since they started it and have had nothing but good results. You can do online check in 10 days prior to your arrival date.

It shortens your time in line at the resort. They have 90% of your paperwork already setup for you. They explain what everything is and then you sign a couple of things. It's kind of like online check in at the airport. You still have to stop in and check your bags but your boarding pass and seat are already secured.

Has anyone taken their girl to the Disney Barbershop on Main Street at MK? My wife wants to take DD1 since she won't be going to the BBB with DD2. I'm hoping it's not insanely crowded since I don't think we can make a ressie for that.

I just wanted to tell you not to jump to the worst conclusions. I had something similar happen about 5 years ago. I went through a battery of tests, right up to an MRI without a real diagnosis. I spent all that time very worried I was developing MS. Eventually they called it "peripheral neruopathy", gave me some medicine to treat the overactive nerves causing the pain/tingling and sent me on my way.

I will warn you if you have something similar that mine seems worse when I fly, probably because of the cabin pressure. To this day, I usually have to take my shoes off when I fly and keep moving my feet a lot.

Mine is a nuisance, but apparently benign. So try not to worry unless they give you a real reason to.

Only time (and an MRI) convinced me there was nothing major going on. Peripheral neuropathy is a diagnosis of exclusion. They have to rule everything else out and that's what you're left with.

For me it started with the tip of one finger going numb one day. Then my feet started tingling, then my hands. Then the tingling became stabbing pain. As I said though, the medication has made it mosty a non-issue for me.

Here's hoping they can put your mind at ease quickly. That waiting was the worst.
