I recall last year that Southwest had a big sale that went into mid-November. Does anyone know if they do that every year? I'm back and forth between Nov and Dec and that might swing it for me.

I just capered and had a 30% room only pin associated to my name. It was good even during Thanksgiving week at all resorts except Art and Animation.

Please add me to the November 2012 arrival calendar. I have had my room reservations at the Beach Club for over a month now, but I finally made it official today by buying our plane tickets. We were originally going to stay from November 20-26, but after I figured out it was a better deal to fly home on a Tuesday instead of a Monday, I purchased our tickets for November 20-27 and added a day onto our stay at the Beach Club. There is no turning back now! I am not sure who is more excited about this trip, my 14-year-old daughter who hasn't been to Disney since our last trip in 2003, her 14-year-old friend, who is going with us as our guest for her first time ever to Disney World, or my 40-year-old husband who just exclaimed tonight that he cannot wait until November and he wants to go right now!

I think it was their anniversary sale! Prices were really low most places, but unfortunately for us they were just as high I also think it was their 40th anniversary so that might be why they were so, so low (I think I read some people snagged $49 each way!). Dunno if they'll do it again this year.

Just booked AoA for November 4-11. Probably gives me 2 strikes as far as getting a discount (new hotel AND Jersey week), but I can live in hope!!

Southwest will release Nov on May 21st.

Many of us here are doing the same - living in hope for a WDW discount!
Congratulations on booking your trip! Which section at AoA have you booked? My original plan was to book AoA (standard room at the Little Mermaid section). But, as we all know, those rooms will not be ready till late, late 2012. So, no cigar. But that's not gonna stop us from enjoying another holiday season at WDW!!
It looks like WDW is excluding AoA from their general public discounts. I wonder why. Are there Disers who have been able to secure reservations at AoA with a general public discount code?

Thank you so much for this! I will check US Air today and Southwest in May. I am new to the forum, to Disney world, and to FL all together. How much would you say is a good price for an airfare from CA to FL at the end of November? I checked Cheapair.com and they seem to have a good deal on there for $430 per person, but it's not a direct flight, that's the only problem

The tentative dates for MVMCP are on the first page, the light show usually starts around the 10th or so

The party dates were held Sunday, Tu, Th and Fri up through 2010. Last year they swapped Th for Wed. Firm dates are usually announced in April with tickets going on sale May 1st.
