I can't seem to remember. I got a PIN this morning for 40% off; however, it came to my email address but has my daughter and her husband's name on it. Can I use the PIN?

I got the Monster 40% pin this morning! It doesn't include the dates I had originally wanted 11/6-11/13, but I'll call tomorrow and ask. If not, I'll switch dates for 40% off!

We're in a small town called Wauseon, about 30 miles west of Toledo. If you've come into Ohio on the turnpike, you've driven by us.

My aunt, from Des Plaines, spends Fourth of July weekend with us, and she would agree with you -- everything here is rural. We live on a farm, but we've yet to get her to help with any "chores" while she's here. I tell her it would make a great story for all of her friend back home, but she's having none of it!

I've heard of Wauseon, but that's about it. I think I "hear of" a lot of towns up there when DH and his siblings talk about sports teams in high school, etc. Or, he does have extended family in Bryan(?) and I've been up there once or twice. Anyway, nice to see a fellow Buckeye waiting around here

I was just wondering about you the other day and wether or not you had moved yet or not. I would change dates too....that is a awsome pin, I can not believe it is for 40% all catogory of rooms.

We haven't moved yet - but my husband moves this coming Monday! EEK! It's been chaos here, so getting that PIN was a nice pick-me-up

WOW!! Any room type and any resort?? AMAZING!!! Is that a room discount code only or can you add tix and DDP and still get the 40% off room rates?? Do tell... Here's crossing my fingers! Congrats to you - & have a magical time!!

There are a few threads on it, but it's called the Monster Pin and mine has Boo from Monsters, Inc. on it (love her!). It's certain weeks from Sept-Dec., but not the original week in November I was hoping for. I haven't had a chance to call yet, but will in the next few days to see what is available.

sjs314, the move is upon us! We're in the throws of finishing exterior paint on the house, de-cluttering, and packing up DH. I think I'll actually feel a little more at ease after he leaves on Monday. Then, I'll be sad he's gone! The only saving grace is that because we are being relocated for work, the company will pay for movers to pack us up

This only adds insult to the injury of losing out on the AAA discount too (to the tune of an extra thousand dollars room costs for our trip!) because we were delayed a few weeks in booking due to complications in finding dates agreeable to the extended family also attending.

Oh well, I'll keep my hopes up for a universal promotion for us all during that time

I got this pin this morning too and we want the same dates you want!!!

It's funny because I've been begging every family member who is going to make sure they go and register on the WDW website, order maps, something to get their names in and hopefully they will get codes.

This is the second code I've gotten in 2 months.

Still no pin for me. We're going 5-15th. I'm on hold right now to ask if there are any pins on my name *fingers crossed*. If there isn't something soon I'm definately going to have to stay off property, and wait for the general pin. By then things could be gone already.

I wonder if they will still send pins and offers even if youhave a ressie booked?? I booked for the week (2 dif weeks actually) wanted and am hoping either for a PIN or that Free Dining is extended like last year...

I'd say YES to that. During our May visit we booked a BB trip for Nov 10-14 (add me to the list!). It was a good deal to get 35% off at POFQ.

Then I just got the 40% Monster pin yesterday!! But naturally, our dates are ineligible for the discount, and we can't change dates because of leave schedules.

Oh well. Still happy to get to go again!!

I haven't read all these posts so please except my apologizes if I have missed something. I was wondering how you would find if they are offering free dining for Oct. We would like to go to Disney sometime after Oct 18th. We are DVC members but thought it would be nice to take an extra vacation staying at some other resort not using DVC points. Any help would be appreciated.

Seems odd it would be more when in the second plan 7 of your nights are discounted 30%, did you check the math yourself compared to what the CM quoted you ?

It's right. Because my first two days are in the "black out" dates. I would have to make two reservations. Because I'm only purchasing two days of tickets they are really high and those two nights are during "holiday" rate as well. Remember the more days you purchase park tickets the cheaper they are.
