We just switched our vacation to a week later .. so instead of going the last week of October, we're there the first week of November. And instead of POFQ, we're staying at the Movie resort. We upgraded and got the regular dining rather than quick service, though .. I had too many reservations and was excited about them, so I wanted to be able to go and not worry about paying the money while there
Well, early November still has the Food and Wine Festival, but also has Jersey Week (if that is a concern to you).
Late November gets the holiday crowd before/after Thanksgiving Day.
Which is why we ended up with Nov 14-18th...I'm hoping it's in-between any potential "rush" for November. But I'm thinking that November (except T-day weekend) should be generally uncrowded.
We will be enjoying the world with our best friends!!!Love spending Thanksgiving with them. We are bringing some first- timers with us so it should be fun!!! Can't wait. Thanksgiving at O'Hanas again!!! YAH!!!
OOOO, we're all getting so close! Our reservations are made, also, although we only made one this year since we did not have the option with the travel agency our group is going with to get the dining plan. I made reservations for Cinderella's Table and we do get a character breakfast with our tour group (although I don't know which one that will be). Money is tight this time around, so we opted not to make any other reservations.
I just had a scare yesterday, though. My MIL decided she wasn't going because she didn't have the money AND she didn't even tell me and I had to find out about it through my stepdaughter). The trip has to be paid off by THIS FRIDAY and I did not have the money to cover her. We are going with my daughter's dance class, who was invited to dance at Disney and I was freaking out thinking we wouldn't be able to go and I would have to tell my 6 year old daughter that she would have to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. Thankfully, I explained the situation to our travel agent and he stated that we could have an extension to pay the trip off. My MIL should have the money by then. WHEW!!! I was literally going to throw up for a while there.
I'm getting ready to set up a countdown for my DD (4) so she knows how much longer. There's only so much more of "Is it time for Disney World yet?" EVERY.STINKIN.DAY!!!
OK, I think that we have finally decided where we are going to stay-- I think it is going to be Pop Century- never stayed there b4 (hopefully there won't be sports/cheerleaders there, DH will make sure we get moved to somewhere else!) I made all my ADR's and booked MVMCP & Pirates league--even did some tweaking to ADR's!! Now to wait & get my prepaid photopass (about 30 days out I do) then we will book for our photosession (I think @ Poly) I think that it is time to start doing the dance!
