We are doing MVMCP for the first time on 11/19. I can't wait!........we are thinking about this day too. We have dinner plans at the castle around 4

Wow, 6 weeks and 4 days for us. I keep telling DH that it's 8 weeks away. I LOVE that school has started, makes the days go by so much faster!

By the way I saw tonight on the Dining forum that they've extended the Wishes Dessert Party through the times of MVMCP! I called just a bit ago and got a ressie for the 19th when we have our party tickets as well. Thought some of you might want to know!

What's the cost? My DH and I are talking about doing this, but I'm not sure ... we have reservations our first MK night at Tony's at 625pm and would have to move it to lunch to not be overflowing with food by 830pm I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle of switching OR the added cost.

Hi Everyone! My name is Liz. I have been a lurker for awhile now and thought finally might be time to post.

My husband and I will be traveling to WDW at the beginning of November. DH has a conference at the Grand Floridian from 11/1-11/4. Then we are switching resorts to Port Orleans French Quarter and staying there from 11/4-11/7. We have never stayed at either of these places before.

I am pretty excited about the trip and have been doing my "happy dance". DH will be in lectures for most of beginning of our trip and I will have the days to myself. I am trying to figure out what to do. Has anyone ever been to WDW by yourself before?

We have most of our ADR done. We just have 2 nights that we don't have anything planned. One of the nights we were just planning on being at Epcot and eating at the different booths for the Food and Wine Festival. The other night right now has no plans. DH birthday is 11/2 and I am taking him to Victoria and Alberts. Has anyone eaten there before?

Newbie question: What exactly is a Pre Trip Report?

Congratulations on your trip! A Pre Trip Report (PTR) is like a cataloging of your plans, which ADR's you make and when you make them, like an open discussion of what you're planning to do. Then the actual Trip Report of course is what you DID do, which many times resembles the PTR very little.

There are quite a few people who've taken solo trips; if you try the search feature you might find their trip reports to see what they chose to do and what worked for them.

We'll be there in 2 months! Our first time staying at CSR. Last week we decided to arrive a night early (it worked out best for the flights). So actually by countdown is off by a day. We'll be staying the 1st night at POP (room only discount). The kids (daughter 17 / son 15) are excited about getting to see the big icons at the POP resort, first time there too. Should be fun! I'm super excited about getting to see Disney all decked out for Christmas time. The only times we've been is in the heat of the summer.

WE WILL GET TO WL THE DAY YOU LEAVE. FIRST TIME FOR DH AND ME AT CHRISTMAS AND FIRST TIME JUST US SINCE HONEYMOON MANY MOONS AGO. LEAVING DS 20 HOME TO TAKE CARE OF DOGS AND FERRET. CANT WAIT.
