For me it's a mixed blessing. We're planning on a moderate now, but if a discount comes along, we are likely to jump to a delux! Thus, negating the disccount

Same issue, but with view. I always book a "garden" view at a deluxe. Last time I was able to use an AP code, I was secretly hoping that they would say, "all the garden views are booked; however, we do have a water view..." Didn't happen that way, and I was strong....

Just got my postcard today for fall specials with pin code... we hadn't booked yet as we were waiting on the specials to see if we could fit it in the budget this year. For a MYW w/hopper for 9 nights we saved $600 at CSR. That was the only moderate available, values were not available. Savings was pretty much the same at deluxe and DVC resorts as well. I will keep checking back as we wanted CBR, but still a pretty good deal.

Ok, I need a little clarification. I've heard in several threads of these "codes" but I don't quite get how it works. I do have a Disney visa and I've booked a package for November. If a code comes out, what would that mean? Would I get a discount on my package? Thanks for any light you guys can shine on this for me!

Codes are discounts on packages or room only rates. If you already have a reservation, you can call and apply the new rate to your reservation - if applicable. I'm hoping for a november AP rate for the week after Thanksgiving.

I think we need to start our own support group for all of us so anxiously awaiting these codes. The stress, tension, and anxiety are just TOO much!!I was hoping that the rumor mill would have started by now since we are so close to when the discounts were released last year, but no such luck. To make matters worse, I had a momentary flutter of excitement today when I got my mail out of the mailbox--the envelope on top was a special looking piece from Disney Rewards. I thought for sure it was going to be something about a discount for cardholders, but the joy quickly turned into disappointment when I realized it was just a newsletter about the fall events at WDW. UGH!!!! Oh well, I am still holding onto hope for pixie dust for us all SOON!

I know exactly how you feel!! I got my fall events newsletter (complete with growth chart for DD4) yesterday. The anticipation is killing me!

I didn't even get the newsletter. Whoever is in charge of disbursing info for Disney Visa does a lousy job.

I called yesterday to make a payment on our Nov. trip. I asked if there were any discount codes with pins attached to our names or addresses. I wanted to cover all of my bases. We have 3 rooms reserved. She said that we currently did not.

I don't get it either katys. I just went to my on line account to see if I'm supposed to be set up for something that I'm not but I couldn't find anything that would sign me up for any kind of newsletter. What should I be watching for?

If a Disney Visa code is released (hoping for Monday!!!), it will be a code, not a pin. And it will be available to anyone with a Disney Visa card. Just keep watching these boards.
