We are close to a month to go. Last chance for FE participation. Also to those who do not have a room assignment, don't forget to let us know so we make sure we don't miss you!!

Another thing is a meet - the Prominade Lounge is a good idea. When? We would still be happy to host a get together in our room on the At Sea day around 2pm. I know some of you would like to see the room ... and this will most likely be our one and only time in a suite, so we'd be happy to share it!

OOH, i'd love to see the suite!

i've been trying to read a little about the FE stuff and i'm not sure i get it yet but it does look like fun. i'm just thinking it'll be too much for our 1st cruise...i'm already feeling overwwhelmed w/all things Disney!

Welcome Jennyriver. I am also a first timer and the people here have been wonderful (and extremely cool!). They have answered all of my (sometimes rather dumb) questions and helped me figure out my plans. Plus you may have questions that I haven't thought about asking yet so it may help me out too!

Just so you all know, jennyriver found out our particular itinerary and it was confirmed by the concierge staff. They did tell me it was subject to change, but as of now this is what it will be:

1st night: Sail Away party, Golden Mickey's
2nd (Nassau): Various entertainers/Pirate Night
3rd (Castaway Cay): Toy Story (semi-formal night)
4th (@ sea): Farewell party, Disney Dreams

I think we will still go to Palo on the first night. We have seen the Golden Mickey's show. I persoanlly wasn't impressed, but that is my opinion, don't let me influence you!! I haven't seen the Toy Story show. I know we want to do the Pirate Party. For all you first timers, don't miss Diseny Dreams. They usually have a matinee in addition to the two evening performances.

Ok I've been thinking about our get together in our room. We are excited!! We will order some stuff from room service and have some wine in the room, other than that you may need to stop by the drink tower on your way. Is that rude?? I've never hosted a DIS meet before!!!

Jenny - if they have the tour of the ship - or something like that have DH go on it. He may find it interesting. We sent not so Disney BIL on the tour and he had a good time. Schedule the spa the just the two of you while DD is in the Club (if she wants to go there) wink wink!! (I don't mean to get personal.) Find things he might like and encourage that!! You can find other itineraries and see if there is anything he might be interested in.

Dominick marvels at all of the lighting equipment on the ship - ok so we are into theater, but it makes him happy!

Karen, I don't think that is rude at all. You are being more than hospitable inviting everyone into your suite. I am so excited to see your suite and to meet everyone. Oh ya, and I'm just a little excited about WDW and the cruise too!

WOW, I just finished reading the whole thread and I am more excited than ever. This is the 7th cruise for my DD and me. My parents have been before (2 x for mom and 1x for dad). My father was in the navy and even on board ships working for NASA when he retired. He HATED the idea of a cruise, but we took my parents for their 60th wedding anniversary last year and we had not even finished the 3 day when my dad asked about going again! Anyway, we are so very excited because friends of my DD just booked. They have never gone before and were counting pennies to see if they could go. We talked and talked and finally they decided to join us. They booked after the fe deadline so they will not be joining us for gifts. However, they are celebrating a birthday for 1 and the holidays for the other. We have more celebrations!!!! I would like to join you for the dis reception in the cat 3 room. Where and when? I will bring my own food and drink!! No need to go out of your way, you are letting us see the room!!! Anyway, working on my FE gifts, I will deliver when ever I can deliver them. Can't wait to see everyone, and 1 month to GO!!!!

I know stress too! I have so many things to do that I don't know what to do first! I don't have a fish extender or gifts yet! I did contact Tiffany who is on a cruise right now so she said contact her after the 5th.

i was also able to find out which movies are playing (subject to change, of course):

College Roadtrip, Swing Vote, Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Wall-e, Miracle of St. Ana, Bev Hills Chihuahua, Morning Light, and HS Musical 3. and she confirmed for me (i wasn't sure) that they do have the big screen over Goofy's Pool but no list of movies being played there.

Hey jennyriver, thanks for finding that out for us. That's funny that Swing Vote is playing, since we have an election right before we leave and the US election will be happening while we are cruising. I wonder if they did that on purpose?
