Hey Doogie
I was able to open it on the laptop.
Desktop -my settings are higher since it is my main business computer.
Looks good. Maybe put our ofoto links on our names so others can see what a bunch of clowns we are.
in my case i would create another one so nobody gets board seeing sooo many pics of the girls.

So are we all staying on 2nd seating?
Ice- can't join you this year, but maybe next

Well everyone, i am on track for my slow but steady 2lbs a week. 4 lbs lost at three x a week racquetball and weightlifting. It is hard to diet when 4 others in the house can eat what they want. :jumping4:

We need to get more people involved into our DIS thread.
Come on other cruisers, quit peeping and start typing!

John :earboy2:

Hey yamahaboy......I have cousins that live at 145th and about Wolf road and another the lives in Chrystal Tree....

Lampy -

No flaming coming from me - LOL!

Hey, we all know DCL is the best, but sometimes we have to feed that cruise jones in between DCL sailings, you know?

Great price, btw!!

Kris

Our friends, The Manleys, are coming. They are just trying to get the rates and cabins straight. Hershel will post here when he is booked. This trip will be a reward to his family for the past two years. His DD11, Caroline is undergoing chemo for luekemia, and she should finish her treatments this summer. She is doing well now. But the family has been through ALOT the past few years. Caroline was on Erins soccer team that I coach before she relapsed in 2003. This is a second cancer go around for her. She went through 2 years of treatment when she was 4. Had 5 years of remission, then they found cells again.
Hershel and DW Melissa had to move to Houston with her for a year, and leave DS10, Andrew, and DD14, Rachel back home with Grand Parents. They re now back living in Lumberton, but travel 100 miles to Houston each week for chemo.
These are the most positive, upbeat folks you will ever meet!
Hershel said as a reward, he wanted to take his family on a GREAT vacation, and be able to just relax. We told him the Magic is it.

Oh, yeah, when we were looking at the Disney site for the cruise, it shows that we are going to Costa Maya, not Grand Cayman this year. I guess Lampy has a crystal ball. He said this a month ago! Costa Maya looks great, though! But I will miss my sting ray buddies.

Also, I looked in on the teen site. Pretty cool. I will try to stay out, and not post there much, like a nosy Dad. May be tough, because I AM a nosy Dad!

Willie

Hey Yamahaboy -

We are very close to you as well --- only about 30 minutes from Orland Park and my girls are regulars at the mall there!

Doogie -

Great job on the list -- I loved to see everyone's photos. I'll try to dig up one or two for you.

Thanks!
Kris

Willie....maybe I should go by "scoop ski" LOL!! Just one more thing......don't get all worked up over Costa Maya....that is not DCLs first choice.....Costa Maya has a "bug problem". I guess that is one of the places that if you went to after the Hurricanes you couldn't give blood for a year back here in the states.

I have an idea.......I think I can call my "girlfriend" and get a name of someone in the dining room ressies and have us ALL seated in the same area at the second seating!!! As it gets closer to our 90 days we should see....This way we are all together before dinner for pics.....what ya think?

Oh, by the way......-5 is what the "outside temp" said in my Expedition as I did my "carpool duty" this morming......don't worry we are going to have a "heat wave" today....all the way up tp 23......oh ya that is going to bring us 5-10 inches of "lake effect" snow!!!

Is it for sure that we're going to Costa Maya instead of Grand Cayman? Bummer!

When we went on the Wonder last Sept. I had booked the Blackbeard's Cove and stingray excursion and it was canceled.

I was so looking forward to the Stingray swim on this cruise - darn!

Kris

Kris.....GC was devestated when we were there last November.....You still may see a different port.....if they will switch it has to be done by the end of April......just the rumors I hear.....

Lampy,

Same rotation and near each other would be great. I think that Julie has some of our reservations linked for dinner. The first seatings were all full when we booked, so I don't think too many will be bumped up to that. I was fine with second seating last cruise.

Willie

We prefer the second seating......I know you aren't supposed to be able to controll the rotation but, for ALL of these return cruisers I think they should accomadate us......APL is the preferred rotation for me. Luminaires on Monday and Thursday, Parrot Cay on Wednesday....pirtate night, all the rest pretty much doesn't matter....right? We were in parrot cay on Mon. and Thursday.....formal.

any other early diners here? I'm just getting those requests in order myself to send to our TA (apologies to the diser on this thread that is a TA - we had already booked!) I'm requesting APL with Palo for my DH and I on the first Parrot Cay night - not sure when my folks will be going to Palo mom is awaiting my recommendations for her :) I wanted to skip formal night for Palo buy my youngest DD wants us to all go together that night. I'm thinking of booking Mom/Dad's Palo on formal night instead ;)

I want to do Palo brunch on thanksgiving -

willie - i'll keep the Manleys in my prayers as their DD finishes her chemo and send PD for success so the trip is a GO! for them. i am amazed by children who cope with illness and their outlook on life, it's very eye-opening

ohMom...... Formals are Monday and Thanksgiving....

We are easy as far as rotation goes. We loved all of the restaurants. We did Palo on Tuesday, that way we already been to each once.

Lamp, any rumors on possible other ports?

OHMOM, I will pass your thoughts on to Hershel, if he is not already lurking.

Willie

Rumor???? DCL would like to find a "not so populated" and "less touristy" stop. Something they could expand in their way with their money. Mexico IS their choice......cancun, to touristy Chetumel seems like a "natural". It's in a cove for parasailing around the ships....etc.

LAMPSKIES- crystal tree is right down the street from us...we live at about 108th and 159th in "kingsport"
this is Eric's Mom-he told me that he found this cruise meet. We're not booked yet but we're planning on going on this Thanksgiving cruise if we can get a good rate. My DH already has his vacation for that time and we only have to take the kids out of school for 2 1/2 days. We'll be in WDW 3/05 if anyone is planning on being there then.

Well welcome yamahaboys....Mom LOL We are actually from Crown Point....Lakes of The Four Seasons....and this will be our 2nd annual Turkey day sailing.....better put your 250.00 per person down now....it's only going to get more expensive!!! IMHO

We fly down on the Friday before and spend a day unwinding at WDW...don't want to take the chance of flight delays....lookin' foreward to seeing you on these boards....

Hi Turkey Gang!
I haven't read any messages here but if someone wants to do the website, I'd be more than happy to burn the site from last cruise to CD so that you can just upload it to your web space and make the updates/changes. Who is doing the site this time?

Let me know if you'd like me to do that.

Have fun planning!

Hey lamps
who do you sleep with ;)
How do you hear these things
does your "girlfriend" tell you!

This is a great rumor, it should be true
it sounds too good to be true
wishing upon the stars! :earboy2:

I'm all up for being seated near each other. That would be awesome!! :cool1: The RON Bon Jovi area! We're late seating, and could care less about rotation, just give me some warm sunshine, calm seas, and some rum and cokes and ya'lls company!! Did some of you already get your dining linked up?

I just found an answer: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=719611

CrusinDisney, I hope you don't mind if we reused your site? You did such a wonderful job for us all to enjoy. I worked on it over the weekend and made the necessary changes (very few). It's now at: http://www.geocities.com/grayhounddoogie/tday_home.htm . Thank you so much for all your prior work :D

Doogierunner,

I'm with you, Let's all sit in the same area in the same dinning room. Most of us have the same age range kids and are in late seating. WE'll probably get APL anyway. We should call DCl and have all the ressies linked for dinner. The cruise ship will never know what hit them. LOL
