That is one of the most disturbing things I have seen. What do they call this event, and when is it held, so I can make sure to errr. not be there!

Hey Lampy- Since we are just shooting the bull here, will you clear something up for me. As I understand it, a group of you performed as Bon Jovi on last year's cruise at the 80's night? You competed against other groups? The winner was determined by applause? I can't help but think that you will be a lock to win this year with the cheering section you will have!

Who were your other band members?

Dining Rotations!!!!!!!!!!!! Just talked to DCL and no they can't guarentee just yet our "requested" APL but, it does show we ARE ALL linked and we ALL requested that rotation......they are treating us as a convention.........WHERE IS OUR DISCOUNTS?

Thanks for the update! I hope that we get this rotation. It will be just right. Animator's Palate on the first night will be fun, and Parrot Cay for Pirate Night is perfect. Thanksgiving in Lumiere's. Why won't your girlfriend seal the deal? Some girlfriend! Let us know if you ever get a definite on this.

What do you mean where are our discounts? Didn't you get your refund check in the mail like the rest of us?

BTW-did you ever get a thumbs up or thumbs down on Tequila Beach?

I don't know what my problem is! I just can't seem to get started on the packing! I could get it done while she is at school, but nooooo...I sit here reading all these wonderful posts from my fellow cruisers! lol! I guess I'll get started tho...tomorrow!

I am considering telling her when I wake her up around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. I might tell her she has to hurry and get ready cuz we've got somewhere to go. Naturally, she will ask where, and I can just hand her the door sign that I've made. Or I could give her the docs from Disney, and have her figure it out by reading through the ticket booklet. I guess to answer your question, no, I don't have it all figured out yet! I do know that it won't be until the morning we leave. My Mom is going to videotape it though, so I have to tell her everything all at once! Decisions, decisions!

Since you went this far...I would just tell her "we would have to leave early to go see cape canaveral" (or something) and just drive to the port. Since you are taping this...just seeing a child's eyes full of excitement would be great to have. So another words...don't say anything until she's see the Disney Cruise boat.

Hey Julia,

You had asked when we are going over to Florida. We are leaving Lumberton at 5'ish Thursday evening and driving to Houston.(About an hour and a half) our flight leaves Bush at 9:00 PM. We are staying at Hard Rock Hotel Thursday night and Friday night. Then heading for the port at 9:00 Am Saturday.


We had a front blow through last night with some wind and rain. Half of my roof is covered with a big blue tarp, due to good old Rita. I was up late with my flashlight in the attic looking for leaks. Any of you guys have a roofing business? Come on down to East Texas and get rich. Waiting lists with roofers are in the months.

Julia, we have the limo coming to pick us up at Hard Rock at 9:00 Am, then stopping at a grocery/liquor store, then on to the port by 10:30.

Last year we arrived by 11:30 and it was already packed.

I can relax now. I went to the bank to get the passports out of our safe deposit box. Much to my horror there were NO passports and only DDs birth certificate!

Luckily my brain kicked in and I remembered that they were at the house in a draw with some other items to put INTO the safe deposit box. The kids passports had expired but we have their birth certificates. We will use our passports since we have them.

Clothes on the bed ready for the suitcase. Now if I didn't have to get a luncheon setup for some Board of Education members in our school tomorrow and copying and supplies for an in-house teacher training day, I'd be able to relax a little more.
