November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

I will need to place the order by noon tomorrow, Nov. 10.

So far, I think only GdHarmon and Cody'smom have expressed an interest.

There need to be at least 12 shirts before I can place the order.

If we don't get to 12 by tomorrow, there will not be a third order.

Add Kelli and I to the anniversary list- This Saturday November 12th will be 22 years of wedded bliss.(She MIGHT be lurking, you never know.)

We usually get a bunch of friends to go eat at Sartins. They have the best BBQ crabs in the world. But, their building is being bull dozed as we speak. They are going to move over closer to Houston when they reopen. So, there goes a tradtion out with the Rita debris! Time to start a new one!

Ron, I went back over your posts, and I did not see anything too risque? (How bout that fancy word?) Except maybe "bra"?

On the anniversary subject, Chuck and I have 2 anniversaries. We first got married in front of our immediate family on 3/30/99 and then we had our "dream come true" Disney Wedding in front of our extended family and friends on 11/27/99. As a result, on the cruise we will be celebrating the anniversary of our disney wedding!!

Last year, we drove from home to the port the morning of the cruise. It's about a 3 hour drive. This year we decided to stay near the port the night before the cruise. We will be staying at the Hampton Inn on Cocoa Beach. Is anyone else staying at this hotel?

Wow. Just saw gas for $2.18 per gallon. Prices are dropping in time for those driving to Florida next week!

Finally! How high did it get out your way Willie? It is so bad here right before and after any Hurricane. Our Governor (your old Governor's baby brother) is after all of the price gougers. So, the gas stations just close all of their pumps before a hurricane. Then they reopen after the prices have gone up because of difficulty in shipping the gas. The thing is the gas in their big tanks was already there before the hurricane! We were having jumps like $.50 per gallon in a day.

I'm glad they decided to lower the prices for your trip to Fla!

Andrew, I am not driving to Florida this year. But I have driven over to Orlando quite a few times. This year we locked up a direct flight for Thursday back in March for about $250 PP. But we had gas as high as $2.99 per gallon after the storm. We have a law that the stations cannot raise the price unless they have just rec'd a tanker full. We should have the cheapest gasoline in the world, since we refine most of it here in East Texas!

but I'm thinking you are right about the T.O. situation! It should be interesting is right! I just hate that our last game was a late Sun nighter and this one a Mon nighter .... but i guess it is good for weekend packing!

I think we are ready for a major comeback though!!!!

on packing, I am the queen of over packing so I'm really going to try not to this time, but I'm sure I will. A girl needs to have choices you know?!?!?!

Since ya'll are trying so hard to hit the 4000 mark, I have a question that may generate a few responses. I was wondering what everyone did for work.
I quit working we when moved but for about 17 yrs. I did inside sales for a computer company, mostly working with large aerospace accounts. DH is also in the computer biz and is a supply chain manager for a board mfgr.

Kris, I thought the same thing after our 03 Eastern....and deffinately after our "cancelled 02 Eastern" fiasco....so I booked Beaches in Ocho rios for last Thanksgiving and DDs were REALLY upset we weren't going sailing...so I asked about another ship and they said "no way". I think they think the Magic is THEIR ship! And believe me we are NOT "mickey mouse" people.....just that the service is sooooooooooo good......and the company?
