Yea! Willie is back! Glad to hear from you Willie...whew, you got us worried. Ssoo, you can't go back home until another week, WOW. So...I guess your family is still staying with relatives? I think you're lucky if the warm weather should stick around longer so you'll able to clean up your place. If we were all (DIS boards) living close to you, we would be joining with you to help out...like you see on tv "The Home Edition Makeover!!"

Is anyone doing magnetic door signs for the cruise? I'm thinking of making one for my parents and then one on our door for the kids -- so they're not trying to walk into other rooms like they do at hotels, haha.

Hey all I'm back!!!!! It's been INSANE!!!! End of month stuff with this "employee purchasing" ending and the usual end of month things....Jessica had homecoming this weekend and I helped my next door neighbor take his 2 boats out and winterize them yesterday, how depressing!! ( He had #3 to his tailbone fused a month ago....OUCH!!) I'm staying in 'till November.......I'm skiing in November so I can see the difference in the water temps between CC and LOFS.....LOL!!
Bill........I purchase a new mug (or two) every sailing......they are the hit of our parties......oh ya, had a Texas Holdem' tourney Saturday night after the kids went to homecomming......Kim thought we were going to have 8 or 10.....I "forgot" that I envited the "neighborhood"....had almopst 30 oooooooooopppppppppppppsssssssssssssss!!! Last person left at 3a.m.

@ Bill......O.K. Here is the "house set up". "Pop machine" in the garage.....holds 650 cans, Fridge downstairs by the bar holds 9 cases, smaal fridge under the bar holds a couple more and my "indoor outdoor" portable electric cooler (usually by the pier while the boat is out) hold 4 more.....now subtract out some room for Kim and friends "hard lemonaid" and wine, and the absolute and stolies in the freezer.....hmmmmmmm O.K., hows 4 large garbade bags of empties? Have to keep the "pop machine" in the garage 'till holloween, as Kids collect candy, parents colect millers..... Trick or treat!!
Maria Jess was at homecoming and didn't get back 'till after 1 anyways....just a reason to stay up!

And yes, WELCOME BACK WILLIE!!!!! We missed our cruise director!!!


Bfsobenner......The boat isn't getting winterized 'till November if my cataract surgery gets postponed.....I'm going to ski in the snow.....just need a wet suit....It'll keep the beer cold.....right?

If you do have that cataract surgery, I guess you requested an "IV w/Miller lite" to keep you stable.

Yep, I.V. me up!! Doc said "no heavy lifting for 6 weeks". I said "hope 12ozs is O.K., otherwise I don't need to see that bad!"
Believe it or not.....Kim and my friend Chris were the two finalists and the decided to split the pot.......Texas holdem in Diversions while watching football on Thursday? We tried to play on deck 10 on a sea day and it was really windy last year......

Keep that boat floating, there is usually a nice day in November for skiing,
I usually resort to dry suits pretty soon. Rachel just skied her pb(personal best) last saturday. It is still unusually warm in the norteast. Lake still in the mid 70's

Lampy, How do you size the pictures you post? Mine come out huge!

Yep! I think I did my job by calling up Lampy to get him to order tshirts...and it was great to hear Lampy's voice...so jolly and funny. It brought back a lot of memories from last year. I have to say that the Lampkies are very hard to convince to order the tshirts....they are going to feel left out if they don't.

Haven't heard from Doogie and Icemanpad...are you guys doing ok? Did Doogie order tshirts? I didn't find it in any of the post. I'll call him up as well if he didn't.

I hope you did not see the Bengals/Texans game on Sunday. I am sure there are alot of new TV's that had to be bought on Monday due to the blown call by the REFS. But look at it this way, the Bengals are

Time will fly. We don't have many (any) free weekends between now and then.

Hi Gang,

Just a quick post before the electricity blinks again and I lose what I am typing. Recovery here is progressing at it's own pace. We have quite a bit of wind damage in East Texas and at one time we had 500,000 familes without power. I think they said we are down to about half that. Many of my neighbors lost their entire homes due to trees falling on them. Kelli said this area has been sort of forgotten in the national media the last week or so. I guess people are tired of hearing about hurricane damage. I am surprised because so many folks around here are barely getting by right now. FEMA and local churches are doing a heck of alot. But American Red Cross still not on the scene here, 11 days after the storm....
I am fortunate to have generator power at home, and the only suffering I am doing is cold showers, and not being with my family. Call me Mr. Lonely. (And of course a loss of income for about a month!) Instead of selling insurance now, I spend most of my time helping with claims.

Will post again when able! AM I READY FOR THE BEST CRUISE OF THE YEAR!
