I can't believe it's almost here!!!! We will be celebrating our honeymoon so I am super excited. We inidicated that in our ressie, but does anyone know if something special happens? Just being on the ship is special enough for me, but I was just curious.

Only 5 more weekends, but who's counting?

Anthony (my boyfriend) this is his first cruise ever!
We do not have any kids at this time, it is just a weekend away before the hectic holiday season. We both work retail.

Thanks for doing this and I hope to meet everyone!

In a few days I get to sail away with my parents but I am more looking forward to doing this cruise than that one! After this cruise we are staying over at the All star Music Resort. In September we stayed at the All Star Movie resort and Cornado Springs. I am looking into doing the Disney Vacation Club just trying to come up with the money. I will just this service when I go to California for a birthday celebration for both me and my boyfriend. We also might use it for Asia if they have properties over there. I have family that lives in Hong Kong so worst comes to worst we can stay there and still go to Hong Kong disney! I never really was a Disney fan until after Beauty and the Beast came out! That is my favorite movie!!

My brother and his wife did a Dream honeymoon cruise 2 weeks ago and did mention getting some special treatment. Nothing major, just some special dessert at dinner, congrats from crew and their stateroom host did special things for their towel animals each night (always a couple, like kissing swans with rose petals, that kind of thing). They did WDW afterwards and said that with their just married buttons and bride/groom ears, they got tons of special stuff. So, um...be obvious?

HI everyone!
Well I'm back from cruising with my parents. I had an okay time but with Hurricane Rina in the area we had to change our trip. We got an extra sea day and went to Progresso Mexico. We lost Grand Cayman and Roatan. Oh well if Disney goes there I might book a cruise for next year.

I so can not wait to go on this one! It was really hard to stay a week without my boyfriend so this cruise would be good for us! I hope the weather is good for us and not too cold. I will be packing some long sleeves just in case. For those who have done this cruise do they do trivia on the ship? That is one thing I liked about the cruises I have been on. Well got to go to work so see you all later! Thanks for the information so far.

Just seeing how everyone is doing! I am getting soo excited for this cruise! Just think in a few days we will be on a ship heading out to sail away!! I just hope the weather cooperates (my dad told me that there is a hurricane in the caribbean again)

Our vacation might be cut short since Anthony just go a new job and they might need him on the 20th. I kind of hope not since we had plans to hang out at the parks then go see "Breaking Dawn" with his brother and my best friend at Downtown Disney's dinner and movie theater. We do go to this movie theater but it will be our first time to do this experience!

I have a question, do any of you bring on your own drinks. Was wondering how many drinks do you bring? I want to bring on a bottle of wine for dinner but also bring some beer and some bottle water for our suite. The only thing I see is that you have to put it in your carry on not checked bags. thanks in advance.

I am almost all packed! See you all later and thanks for your help!

we usually bring liquor(to mix with soda) for castaway and a bottle of wine for dinner. Usually we bring bottled water especially if going to Mexico and a brita pitcher if it's a long cruise. I guess it depends on how much you want to drink. i live in south florida and just finished watching the weather. It's not a hurricane it's a tropical storm and no threat to any part of the US. It's near Bermuda not Bahamas, So we're good. Can't wait for cruise!!

Nice to find another tinkerbell fan other than myself. My DH thinks I'm a little nuts because 95% of all the t-shirts I own have tinkerbell on them. I also have a tinkerbell tatoo on my leg. I just know what I like I hope you decide to become a DVC Member - I guarantee you will enjoy being members. We joined several years ago and have bought 2 additional plans since then to add to our points so we can take more vacations. You really can't beat the value of what you get for the price. If you purchase a DVC membership on-board you get discounts and special deals they don't offer anywhere else. We purchased two of our plans while we were on-board one of the Disney Ships and received a discount on the price plus additional points. Check out the Disney Vacation Club Presentation while you are on-board. They usually have this presentation on the 1st day of the cruise. They also usually do a drawing at the presentation for an on-board credit of several hundred dollars which would be very nice to win. If you are like most people, this will not be your last Disney Cruise. Once you see how Disney service and entertainment compares to other cruiselines, I'm sure you will want to cruise with Disney again. My DH and I have only cruised on Disney so we can't compare but as far as we are concerned nothing could come close to the Disney Experience so we have no desire to even check out other cruiselines. First off I like your username! I am a big tinkerbell fan while my boyfriend is a big Pluto fan as well as a Disney Nut!! I have cruised before but on Carnival. This is my 10th cruise overall and my first Disney!! I am taking my boyfriend on his first cruise ever! I totally enjoy cruising and you get more than you pay for in my opinion. I am looking into do the Vacation Club membership but not sure as yet if I am. We recently stayed at the All Star Movie and Cornado Springs resorts for some alone time and loved it. After this cruise we are staying one night at the All Star Music Resort. We both are annual passholders and go to Disney at least every other week if not more.

We have a deluxe family suite with verandah on this cruise and i like the fact that there is a bath tub in the bathroom. We do not have any kids as of yet just us. He is 25 while I am 32! Well hope to meet up with you on board.

To add a note about your wine-even if you walk into the dining room with your bottle already corked, they will still charge you the corking fee. Our way around that is to grab a couple of glasses ahead time at one of the bars and pour the wine into the glasses an walk into the dining room with the glasses. So, you can have a glass before dinner and one during dinner. Depending on your waiter they won't care if you bring the bottle in already opened, but when we were on the Baltic, we did that and our server said something.

Getting really excited now! My DD(5) is already planning her wardrobe for this cruise, lol. She can't wait! Hope it is warm enough to swim (at least, warm enough for a 5 year old to swim...maybe not so much mom!).

I keep checking to see if we got some last minute pixie dust, though I'm actually pretty excited to try the virtual porthole. We've literally gotten the upgrade the day before the cruise though, so who knows? Wouldn't turn it down!

CONGRATS ON THE WEDDING!! Last cruise we had someone from our roll call who got married the day before!! She was more excited for the cruise too!

Purplejewel-I am a big tinkerbell fan! I am going to be wearing my tinkerbell pjs and I have been thinking about getting a little Tink tattoo but I am afraid of needles though I am also a huge Panda fan! My boyfriend said that he will be getting me Panda stuff from the China Pavillion at Epcot for Christmas. Thanks for the info about the vacation club. It does seem to be a great deal just wish I had a better paying job so I can do it. Oh well maybe next year after I graduate from college and start up my own business I will do it.

Thanks everyone for the info about the alchol. I like to have a nice glass of wine to unwind and since this ship has suites with a bathtub I am going to have a nice bubble bath with my glass of wine (too bad we can't take candles then it would be a nice romantic weekend ) I think that I might be hooked on disney cruises just by the warm welcome from fellow cruisers and reading up on cruises. For me as long as I am on the water and do not have to work it is going to be a good cruise!

I hope to see you all soon. I have already packed just waiting for Anthony to pack (he might pack on Wednesday so last minute) I might be wearing a dopey baseball shirt and maybe the matching baseball hat on sailaway!! I am soo excited!!
