Haven't gotten cruise documents yet. Getting more excited every day but also starting to stress thinking about what clothes to pack and bring on the cruise.

DM told me she plans to start packing this weekend!

We'll definitely stop by. It's always nice to see familiar faces during the cruise.

I'm getting more excited now that cruisers are starting to receive their documents. We won't get ours for at least two more weeks due to our location. Can't wait!

No Docs yet. What type of docs should I expect?

Has anyone ever upgraded their cabin once at the port? If there is some cabins open is it expensive to upgrade?

From what I've read, IF available, much LESS expensive.

From what I have read, they figure the difference between the rate you paid for your stateroom and the current rate of the "upgrade" room and then charge something like half of the difference. If you paid $1,500 for your stateroom and the one you want to upgrade to is $2,500 the $1,000 difference would be cut down to $500 for the upgrade.

Yay, life is back to normal. Just in time for our 30 day count down till our vacation and cruise. We can't wait!!!! Been doing FEs' all day!

You will get a nice little DCL book personilsed with your families names. It will have all the info for any excursions , treatments dining ressies you have booked as extras. Kids clubs if any and those lovely blue and white luggage tags. Im sure yours will arrive soon.

we make a "count down chain" with 30 loops. (30 days til we leave) Make it like you would the Christmas chains you would make in school to go on a tree.
We made ours red,black & yellow. Numbered 1-30. Then each night at the 30 day point. You get to cut off one link, starting with #30(Tonight for us since we are leaving a day early for the cruise) It gives the younger kids a better idea of HOW MANY MORE DAYS, MOM?
