November 12, 2011 - Magical Double Dip!

We haven't booked yet and I just checked the rates this morning and they still are $839 for the adults for an inside room. I actually priced out this same cruise for 2010 and the prices for 10 were the same as 11. I'm planning on booking an inside room and then switching to the Florida rate if and when it becomes available. Then trying to upgrade at the port. This is not a popular time to sail and with the new ship I think a lot of people are either waiting for the fantasy or sailing on the dream. Which is good news for us!!! If for some reason the cruise starts to fill up, I will then change our ressie to the room type I want to be in!!! Is that super confusing or What!!! Is it November yet!!!!!

You're right. I've looking at cruise.com (because it's faster) and their rates are still showing the crazy high double price. Must be a glitch. Glad that it's still at a decent rate (and to hear that it'll be low season).

This is our first cruise ever and we are really excited. We will be in 2 connecting Oceanview staterooms, room 2638 and 2640. I think I would like to be on a higher deck, but this was all they had left for Oceanview connecting rooms. We have the early dining scheduled. Can't wait, only 10 more months to obsess over this vacation here on the disboards.

!!!!!!!Don't worry about being on a lower deck! On our last Disney cruise we were in cabin 2038 on deck 2 and LOVED it! I would be happy to end up there again, so no worries! You are gonna love cruising and so will your little ones

WHEW!!! It's been awhile since I've been on the DIS!!

I was looking at flights and hotels tonight as we're planning on flying down on Friday and staying at a hotel and getting on board early this time!!!

I just booked the hotel, and it looks like Spirit Air has some reasonable prices, so that may be next!!

PS. Are we doing fish extenders on this trip? We've never done them, but we want to if it's being done!!!

Hi all!

Life's been nuts with the holidays and digging myself out of work. Just wanted to pop in and say hello and let everyone know that my in-laws, Pamela & Ted, are joining us on this cruise. They're in their own separate cabins and will likely pop in and introduce themselves shortly.

Disneydreamer - I just got my initial "welcome back" docs, so it gave me a small boost of excitement. Will do better at popping back in. I do feel like if I start getting myself all worked up, I may not make it 'til November!!

Wish were were on the cruise now. Our heater finally went out last night and the HVAC folks tell me "the part" is still not in. Luckily, there's heat on our 2nd floor where DS sleeps, but DH and I are huddled in our electric blanket turned to "10" and will sleep with wool hats (the Elmer Fudd type) on our head. Oh, and we're expecting about 4 inches of snow tonight. Can someone pleeeez send over some heat??!!

We are getting together this weekend to scrap our last cruise(s) so we will be toasting the new one with anticiapation building. We have added a 6th to our crew now too! It will be here before we know it!

!!!!!!! This is our first double dip, but our 3rd trip to GC and our 4th to Cozumel, super excited about the extra stop at CC!!!!

We had to cancel this cruise because of school issues. Have a great cruise!
