November 12, 2005....7 Night Eastern...Who Else?

So are we close to completing the order information for the wristbands? I am in no hurry but I hope all have spoken.....and we should get a final price in mind and I forgot, did we agree we could mail checks to the ringleader of this fine operation? :goodvibes ;)

What other group of "strangers" could you trust to send you checks that won't bounce? :rotfl: That would definitely be a great group of DIS'ers who are forking over lots of $$$$$ for an experience of a lifetime on the Disney Magic on November the 12th, the year two-thousand and five! :teeth:

P.S. Don't know why but last night at this time.....my daily summer routine of hauling the laptop out on the deck and sipping wine while surfing these Boards....I couldn't get on! I almost choked! :earseek: It was as if all DIS boards were not available (off line) and I about had a high-speed come apart! :badpc:

I went to bed very sad and frustrated! What has my life come to? Do you know I have completely stopped watching TV because of these boards? (Except when Desparate Housewives, Survivor, and CSI start again in the Fall)

I am limited now to a little local news, Headlines news, always the Weather Channel :umbrella: .....love watching all weather across the country especially potential Hurricanes! :umbrella: ......and the DIS BOARDS!

Am I normal? :confused3

Barkley,

I also want to thank you for the great tip about checking at David's Bridal. I found a great dress for a great price. I wasn't planning on wearing a long dress because I did not want to spend the money and the time it would take to find one. My husband is now thinking of renting a tux. I think it was mentioned that you can rent one on the cruise can anyone tell me how to go about setting that up?? I appreciate all the ideas.

Which one did you get - if we show up with the same one - that will be a hoot....Mine is black with red flowers - sorta....

There is a link to renting tuxes for the Disney ship - you can only rent at this one place. http://www.cruiselineformal.com/faq.html

Note that sometimes it does not work and take you to the Disney selections.

My DH actually purchased a tux now that we are into cruising, it was more economical. The store was not "gun-ho" to sell him one, until we did the math, so at least they are honest.......Now he looks like James Bond (to me)

Where are you?

Hi guys!

I'll post more later, but wanted to let you see what I came up with for our band designs. Let me know which you like better. I might submit both & ask reminderband which will transfer better, but I thought I would get an idea from you all as to which you preferred.

cruiseband2.jpg

hello all-to update your listing; we will be celebrating my husband's birthday on the cruise (it will have been a couple weeks prior).

we also vote for mickey and minnie-p.s. what is the sizing info again-and are they stretchy (i have fairly small wrists so i need to know weather to get a kids or adults).

barkley - sizing info for bands. They are like livestrong bands. They do stretch a little to go over your hand.

Sizes
Just thought I would post this so everyone can see the specs on the sizes
Reminderbands™ come in three sizes: large, medium, and child. The large bands are 8 3/8" around and will fit most adults and large-framed teenagers. The medium bands are 7 3/8" around and will fit most teenagers, small-framed women, and children. The child bands are 5 7/8" around and fit children 4-6 years old. They are not intended for children younger than four. The majority (75% - 80%) of our customers order the medium sized wristbands. Please see the spec table below for other measurements. If you would like a cut-out for measuring sizes on your wrist please print the Reminderband™ sizing page (Requires Microsoft Word).
.

choc marg - I love the mickey and minnie heads! Thanks for all of your hard work!

The Bands are great....In looking at my other reminderbands, there is not much detail on the "pictures" so perhaps it will end up being a stamp of the mouse head...I'm fine with taking the Reminderbands suggestion.....

THANKS :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earboy2:

Thanks...will make correction. I have to correct smola09's (see above e-mail) as well...

Mind you, on a good night, I am fine with Monday night football. However, on the Magic, Monday night, not too sure....It is a night at sea, so club hopping, including the lounge is a possibility. DH is not a football fan, so all I can promise is that we might stop by.

As for the JETs (boo) Monday night....at least they are not playing my 'Fins.
Monday is Formal night and I think I will relax with a glass of champagne, the Magic, my hubby, the sea and not the Jets and "beers".... :rolleyes1

Hope you understand.... :wave2:

Does anybody know when Pirate's night is on our cruise. I am looking at other threads but wondered if you knew. Thanks. :cool1:

I am pretty sure Pirate Night is St. Maarten night for us. Got the info from my Passporter.

DIS Nurse

I am also addicted to checking these boards at night. It is a good time for vacation planning during the summer TV schedule. We better get everything planned before they start up again. I also love Desperate Housewives and CSI.

Barkley

We are safe I bought a long deep purple dress. We will all have to meet up on formal night and show off our great purchases. Thanks also for the link to the tux site, I will go and check it out.

Chip&Dale&Fun

We read online that the Konk Cooler is served on board and Castway Cay. Somewhere it states that it is the "Official Drink of the Disney Cruise" Perhaps we can meet up and do some research on the ship ;)
