i figured we would just put "floaties" on the kids and let them bob around in the pool (toss an occasional handful of jellie bellies at them). since we are now staying at the rad whatever ever works for everyone else (does the irish pub have good "pub grub"?).

Sorry - no - in fact - no food at all.....It used to be - but alas no longer.

We have a no-smoking policy for resturants in Florida. It was passed as a constitutional amendment. Thus, if a certain % of the profits come from food, there can be no smoking. Pubs or other establishments, which wish to cater to smokers cannot therefore serve food.

We are avid non-smokers ourselves, but love this pub....so we will visit in the afternoon, before it becomes crowded.....

I thought a short meet (and drink - if the pool bar is open) and then dinner - as we take it...Some folks want to walk to the Italien place - others had dinner plans. I think we may head to Ron Jon's Resort as we have never been there - sorta very easy.....and we need to visit the Irish Pub, of course. But whatever.....

Sounds great to me. Can't you imagine the torture we would put DISNURSE through if we all show up at Ron Jon's for dinner with our green bands on & she still can't join us, but she can only watch from afar?

LOVE that policy. It is like that in Flagstaff too & Mom & Dad forget that it isn't that same way when they come to Phx.

o.k. all you non-smokers, just plan on relocating up the road from us to lovely Davis California where it is illegal to smoke! (yes, you can get a ticket with a heafty fine for smoking on the sidewalk unless you are in transit, walking so much of a distance, so many yards away from people, bsns.....).

I was going to skip it, but Sam has worked so hard to get the house and yard recovered and it will be his Birthday - so I think I will splurge....Any suggestions...come on AWOL and Barkley DH - speak up here....

Don't worry kids, it is Florida - this is how we eat out in Florida - with stange people wearing green wrist bands, ordering lots of Margaritas and souflees (ok I am tired - sp?) and taking about walking the plank - it is just too hot in Florida for their little brains.....

You might have joined after Hedgie was introduced. She is our mascot having gone everywhere with us and snuck onto the boards today -- looking for her friend Scoopie from my May cruise - (OK that will take a brewski or 3 to explain).

She will love to try the Blue Anchor Inn.
