Room 5139. Awesome location!!!! The stateroom reports for the surrounding rooms(interestingly, no one reported on 5139 yet) are all positive.

Can this get any better??? :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Isn't that strange, what are the odds??? My family and I are in 5137. I agree it looks like a great location, we have an 8 year old son and being close to the kid's club is great.

I am thinking that cruise docs dispursed by category is correct!

I am pretty sure that us Titanic sink hole peons are going to be the LAST shipmates to receive their docs. pirate:

Do you feel sorry for me yet? :confused3

If we DO start sinking at any point, you do realize, that I will RUN up the stairs to you rich people's rooms and arm wrestle you for your KTTW cards!

Those cards are invaluable to prove "who is who" onboard.

I'll be damned if DIS NURSE and family will have to suck up sea water in the lower hulls as a romance ensues!

I have already bought the kid friendly versions of the REAL Titanic story....sold at the book fair at their school no less! I have purposely hidden these books away until AFTER we have cruised. ;)

AAAAH! i was going to bring my c.d. with the re-enactment of the radio and log entries from the titanic crew (i did "the unsinkable molly brown" a few years ago and it was one of the raffle prizes :goodvibes ).

"as a romance ensues" :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 yeah, nothing spells romance like having your kids watching the disney channel in bunk beds a few inches away from you (and "privacy curtain" is an oxy-moron).

if we strike an iceberg?banana boat  ? you will find me in the nearest lounge following molly brown's titanic battle cry "belly up, belly up to the bar boys" :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

you are too funny! :flower:

let's just say that we will take the "life boat drill" VERY SERIUOUSLY! here in the DIS NURSE family! :teeth:

ice berg off of st marteen sinks the disney magic! A real good headline, likely to happen but on cruise junkie. com you can see the things that may happen on the trip. heads up, the gulf coast may be getting another storm. This should be the last of the season because the kids nana said they will be staying at home if a storm is going on.Finished the post cards ,thank God for avery labels! :goodvibes

Hello !
We are a family of 4 going! yay!! My husband (26), me (25), my son (8), and my daughter (3). My sisters and their children will be going as well. One is 34 with a teenage girl (14), and a 7 year old boy. Also a 36 year old with two boys 11 and 4 years old. We are soooo excited! How fun are the programs for the kids ? This is our first cruise. We have no idea what to expect. Any tips on what to pack and what not to pack? And what activities are best at the islands?

Uh oh! :guilty:

Just heard someone live from the Magic.....sounds like choas, sawing, tools, roped off areas, and NO exercise equipment! I am bummed for them. It is raining also. :guilty:

I can only hope that the jobs get completed and the weather clears! :teeth:

Welcome Aboard.......

This has been a GREAT day for cruise shopping. Got fantastic deals on formal wear for our 2 little guys. Our teen just got a suit for his first homecoming, so he is all set and my husband got a $300.00 tux clearance priced at JC Penney for $30.00. I was also able to put the finishing touches on our pirate gear. Feels likje the cruise is just around the corner. Hope everyone else had a great weekend and that you can all feel the "Magic" in the air. :goodvibes

well we are going to take a break from housecleaning to go see "wallace and gromit". holding off on "corpse bride" cuz i would like to see it one evening at wdw.

i've got my short list written (think i got everything on the long shopping list already) and thats some food stuff i want to mail ahead of time. so i will gather that up along with the no-no's for air travel and get them out in a week or so. i went on-line last night and printed coupons for some of the downtown disney restaurants so i think i am getting almost done

sounds like they pretty much got everything done in drydock-and all the "bugs" should be out in time for us to sail.

Welcome Alarran Family. :wave2: For all the information you could possibly need, you need to take the time to read back thru the posts on this thread. :guilty: There is so much to know your head will rock. :rotfl: Luckily our DD Choc_marg :love2: :worship: is really great at keeping track of everything, and keeps spreadsheets on the things we need to know. Good luck, look forward to hearing more from you and meeting you on the "BIG DAY". :boat:

WOW - what a great deal on the tux. My DH had no such luck, but then my dress was on clearance during a no tax sale so I guess that makes up for it....

The cruise is almost here - We puchased a VERY LARGE suitcase this weekend.....and had our morning Saturday coffee while reading the document brochure.

Here's a question - last time we traveled, we had 2 complete sets of tickets, one for each of us...this time our names are on the same ticket.

Is this the way yours are??? Just curious. :)

i was thrilled to get only one pack for the entire family! last time we cruised we ended up with one for each of us (4). so i find this to be a vast improvement.

we got a good deal on a tux (though not as good as some :goodvibes )-all we need to do is order rental shoes.

i gotta check the airline regs. for our luggage, i think it is the largest allowed by the airlines, but i dont want to get to the airport and get hit with an overage charge.

happy monday all.

Missed something - one pack? for a family of 4? - You cannot possibly mean one suitcase????

One pack of ?????????

Hey guys! Like I said in my earlier post... I have a niece coming along with us. She is 14 years old and a lil bit shy. Any other teenagers going that need to hang out with someone? She will be stuck with all her younger cousins (which will be no fun) if she doesn't find her some friends.

Frank2271,

You're right. The odds of stateroom neighbors sharing the same board before the cruise have got to be high. I have a 6 year old son, so maybe they will play together in the kids clubs.
