Linda and Sarah..glad you are "back" safe and sound. Thanks for posting the pix. All I can say it WOW. I think you got more flooding than us. The water is still high around here, but it is definately going down. Someone please tell me why I left NY? I never had to contend with this or humidity. What was I thinking.

I hope this is the one and only tropical storm or hurricane we have to contend with this year.

Thanks to all who have PM'd me with cabin numbers. I must say we have pretty much taken over the 2nd deck. I am ONLY highlighting rooms not adding any names. This will be very helpful when it comes to the Tag game or fish mail.

Wow Linda- those are some photos. We've had storm flooding here in the past, but nothing as bad as that! Glad to hear it stayed outside.

wow that is a lot of water. I hope ther wasn't to much water damage to the people there.
We had a flood here in april the bridge near my en-laws house has jersy barriors around it and brook is about three feet below tha bottom of the bridgeand the jersy barriors were completly under water. We figure ith brook was 10 feet above flood. Fortuatanly no one really got any water damage. All of the houses are up in small hills. My enlaws house is probubly the lowest and the water was 20 feet from the deck.

when we played dis tag last year we had a blast.....we had a date for everyone to sign up by approx 2-3 weeks before the cruise so we could organize the list and all know how many presents we needed....i did bring about 5 extra treat bags myslef which was handy because some people joined up on the ship!!!

every person was given a magnet and a list of rooms...you started with the name/cabin below yours...you put the nagmet on the top of the door and lefy your present on the fish or the doorknob.....then when you got "dis-tagged" you would take the magnet left on your door and tag the next person down on your list....all this cycles until you reach your name again and you keep the magnet as a souvenier!!!

we all brought really little things litle bubbles, candy, tattoos, stickers, sm toys, things from where we lived, etc....nothing fancy...it was just fun to get a treat or two on your door each day you came to your cabin~!!! it really added to the disney magic!!!! by the way, out last cruise we were known as the "molar express" because all of us had dental problems while planning our vaccation so we had ALOT of tooth themed items too!!!

it only took a few minutes each day but was so much fun!!! i hope we can do it this cruise too!!!

Linda, I came here to this thread tonight to see how you were doing. Thoughts of Isobel must have been rampant! I'm so glad it was just your garden that got soaked this time. Here's hoping the will come dry you out soon.

All that water! I loved the mountain dew picture! Being in OH we get the outskirts of those storms. Here in the middle of the state we got cloudy skies, sprinkles and the temp cooled down. I hope you all get dried out soon.

I'm also REALLY wishing you lived in Miami. That's where Needalatte's friend Pat lives (she's the one who chatted with us a couple of weeks ago and is considering joining us on the cruise). She sent a photo of the damage Ernesto brought to Miami.

Looks like Ernesto's little cousin flew into Phoenix last night. Big thunderstorm here in the valley, which we really needed, by the way. Now I can go pull weeds in the front yard without having to use a jackhammer.

Wow you guys are amazing with your information and chat. I have just stubbled across your discussion board and feel like its life changing. So many wonderful ideas and what a great way to meet people. Me, my husband along with my twins will be joining all of you on the double dip cruise. We are so excited this is our second cruise with Mickey and we love it. If you wouldn't mind I would love to visit with everyone until the crusie. Do you all plan on getting together at some point on the cruise for Hello's? I haven't had the chance to go through and read all the threads yet. Chances are I'll be up very late the next few nights trying to catch up on what's been posted. This is kinda new for me so I'm going to close for now to see if I have done it right. Please let me know if I don anything wrong. My husband is the computer wiz in the family.

Too funny, Wendy!!! I kinda wish I lived in FL too, since I would get FL resident rate on DCL.

Vicki, thanks for the good thoughts! Our little "decorative hull" stayed put and I think the ducks might have used it for shelter during the height of the storm. At least its good for something.

txaggie94--We are in for the DisTag, sounds like a lot of fun. We're in cabin 8032.

Shelly, sending you lots of pixie dust for the 20th. And I will send you lots more on that day.

Dee, I wish I could go to Vegas. Throw a quarter in the slots for me.

Everything is all sunny and nice here today, and it sounds like everybody here has their electricity back (I can't hear the generators anymore, lol).

Nope, not too late! And WELCOME! Just want to make sure you mean the smallest size when you said 'kids'. I fill everone in on how to get $$ to me and get your address (if you want them in advance of the cruise) a bit later on.

My twins are going to be turning 6 a month before the cruise. They are about average size kids for their age. Do you have any input? Or would it be best just to order the med. to be safe? Sorry this is so new to me. I appreciate any input.

The tag game is something we've just started discussing, txaggie is our expert and has just filled us in on how it works.

There's a thread on the regular cruise line forum called "Show us your door signs" that discusses door decorations. It has links to clip art and stuff to make your own (I'm computer impaired in that department) and some folks on that thread may be willing to help you customize some.

Speaking of door signs, look what the DVC cruisers have....FISH EXTENDERS!

I think the Mickey stuff is an embellishment done by this person, they were just plain....I'm getting details from my friend RRBB.
