I know what you mean Dee, I'm wishing for more activity on the entire DCL forum.....I want new and exciting stuff to ready EVERY DAY! ::yes::

Anybody know a good time share spot on the west coast to hang out and maybe go to some art galleries. Big sister needs a break in March. Think I'll google some stuff this weekend. Yell if you have any ideas.

I haven't had much time to chat lately. Instead of just working 3 days, I've picked up a 4th day of work for 3 weeks in a row. Makes things way more hectic at home, but that extra money will come in handy in Nov. :teeth:

I wish everyone a happy Wednesday! :bounce:

:confused3
Where is everyone? I had some technical difficulties with my computer last night and I thought I would be so far behind you all. I managed to catch up very quickly.
Nothing much going on here tonight. After I work tomorrow, I will be free for a week and it all starts with the trip to the circus. I can hardly wait. :yay: I may be as excited as the kids are.
Good Night
Rochelle

Well, I just thought I'd share with you all... I subbed today for the first time. :teacher: I had a kindergarten class of 11 squirmy 5yo's. The day went well, but boy was I in need of some quiet time when I got home!! :hippie: Went to Tai Chi, too. That relaxed me plenty! I'm lovin' this class!! :woohoo:

That's all I have to add. Just a little something to keep the thread alive!

Does anyone know if our cruise is too early to get Xmas cards made?? This is something we are really interested in doing. I would love to know that's all done before Thanksgiving. Will the decorations be up at this time or is it too early???

Hi Everyone!

At WDW now, actually sitting at Disney Quest while one DS is playing video games and the other is golfing with DH at Lake Buena Vista golf course.

Weather is sunny and cool. Perfect for me since I do not like humid.

Though we still have 9 days left here,I had to tell you how happy I am to know once I get home I'll have the cruise to look forward to! I'll be having OCD with some of you! I hope we'll get to know all of you better!

If you guys are interested, I'll post a link to a trip report when we return to California :)

See Ya!

::yes:: there should be holiday decorations up, or going up during the cruise. I was on the Wonder this past Nov 11/6-10 and wreaths and trees appeared during the cruise.

dairyou ::yes:: Please post a trip report link here when you get baci!!

OK...back to work for me....

You were on the 11/13/04 Magic cruise also? I must have missed you.
I will also confirm that decorations were up on the 11/13/04 cruise.

Also I forget to say you can get your holiday cards made. We had ours done on the 11/6/05 Wonder. They come out really great. They have some really neat layouts.

Congrats! I've been in Kindergarten for the past 2 days and back again tomorrow! :cool1: Our class size is 20 children, and I sure am happy that the class is only 3.5 hours long. It takes a ton of energy to change activities every 15 minutes (especially if the class as a whole is on the immature side, with a couple of definance masters tossed in to give the class extra flavor). I actually had to send home a couple of "red notices" today :sad2:

Thankfully, Fridays are full of fun things!

On another note, you can have Christmas cards done any time of the year. Several families on our July 2005 cruise had their family Christmas cards :santa: made during our last cruise (no tree, but the families were all dressed fancy and the smiles were genuine) ::yes::

Hello all, just wanted to drop in and say "hi" and se how everyon is doing..... :thumbsup2

Hello! :wave2:
I, DIS NURSE, am here to also contest that the Christmas decorations will be in FULL SWING in the terminal and on the ship come November 12th! We just sailed on the Magic on Nov. 11th and were surprised to find any and all Christmas decorations everywhere!

If I were smart enough to figure out how to post our Christmas card made by DCL I would in a heartbeat! They turned out AMAZING! It was a great time to be onboard! :cheer2:

Pirate night was not to be missed! Get late seating and keep the kids up! It is worth it! The only ugly thing about Pirate night on our Eastern, was that the very next AM we were to all get up at the crack of dawn to "immigration duty" for St. Thomas. On this coming cruise, there is no such craziness and I am glad! The pressure is off! :yay:

hello all!

i havent stopped in for quite awhile so i thought i would send a little shout out!! :stitch:

dis nurse, i am so worried that you are going to miss our cruise!! please note that the rest of us will be sailing out on 11/11 and if you show up on the 12th you will need to swim really fast!! :clown:

we had out christmas cards made when we sailed on the wonder in oct 2004 and look forward to getting them made again!! they came out so nice!! :dumbo:

have a great weekend!!
:goofy:

Another one checking in here.... getting packed for our WDW trip today.

Expedition Everest.... Here we come!!!! :woohoo:

cjsmom97 Have fun. I was suppose to ride last weekend but came down with a virus. My family are AP holders except me (CM) hopefully we will get to ride this weekend. The cast preview last weeks had really long lines on Sat. DH took the kids to see the final show of Tarzan tocks and could not believe how long the line was to ride EE. Have a great trip.

We got ours on the 11/3 cruise. You should not have a problem.

OMG! :guilty: I cannot believe I have goofed once again on the dates! I have GOT to be more careful!.....I can't possibly swim that fast and my name would be :furious: MUD :furious: in the family if that happened!

I guess as long as our airline tickets still say, "Nov 10th " on them, I will be fine? :rolleyes1 You don't know how many times I have checked those tickets "just to make sure".....and it's only January! :rolleyes2

Have a great weekend, all!

Hi, my double-dipping OCPD buddies. I started a thread of the Theme Park forum to ask this question, and I thought I'd post it here also in case any of my cruising buddies have had experience with this ESPECIALLY THOSE OF YOU WHO CRUISED/DID WDW LAST NOV:

I have a few questions regarding evening EMH at Epcot in Nov at the end of the F&W Festival. I may be popping in at Epcot on Friday 11/10/06 and am hoping it will be EMH (mostly so I can get more than 3 hours out of my $60 and, yes, I'm staying on property).

1. I noticed that CURRENTLY Friday is EMH at Epcot, but the days change when summer comes. Does anyone know from '05 experience if it was back to Fridays this past Nov? The Disney site doesn't list EMH that far out.

2. Is all of World Showcase open during EMH? I know the ride at Mexico and Norway is, but do all the shops and restaurants stay open later?

3. F&WF during EMH.....are those booths open late also?

Little sister wants to go to Epcot for dinner and illuminations the night before our cruise and I warned her it would end up being a pretty expensive three-four hours (we can't get to FL any earlier), but EMH sure would help on the cost-per-hour ratio! I think if EMH ends up not working out I'll try getting in on an Illuminations cruise and convience her to try dinner at one of the wonderful Boardwalk area restaurants so we can skip the park ticket expense.

Any insight my fellow DISers can offer would be a great help....my OCPD (obsessive/compulsive PLANNING disorder) is in overdrive right now![/b]

:sunny: Here's little sister's questions: (ibouncetoo's)...

We need to find best option pick ups from airport to Swan, to Cruise ship and from cruise ship to airport on return... HELP - DIS'ers!!!

We are getting really excited, I guess I should pin these guys down for an offer on my job! (I just heard the Safety manager wants me in his dept. but I want to work for the CEO!!!) Keep your fingers crossed.
