Weather should be in the high 70s to low 80s. Perfect in my book. I have been to Jersey Week before and did not find it to be very crowded. Thursday-Sunday will be the most crowded, but earlier in the week should be fine. We are headed down from the 1st-9th from Jersey. I am most concerned about our flight home. Our last Jersey Week had people bumped from the return flights for being over booked.
We "do" Jersey Week every year. The weather is usually beautiful. I would say low to mid 80's uring the day. It did get a little cool @ night several days last year. We always put sweatshirts in the backpack. My kids swam every day. I always thought the crowds were minimal. The longest line we EVER waited in was Soarin' the 1st year it opened. We waited 40 minutes. Most lines are 10-15. Last year the kids rode ToT 7 times in a row...there was no line.
I was at Jersey Week in '02 and I vowed never again. The wait for Small World was in the neighborhood of 30 minutes - that's a good indicator of the overall crowd in the park - when that line starts to really back up you know the bigger name rides are suffering.
Comparing those weeks in November with late August/September crowd wise is pretty close to night and day. September crowds are light and are still value season (hence Free Dining) whereas November crowds are heavier and regular season. The weather is better in November, though.
We have a convention Nov 2nd to Nov 8th, during Jersey Week, and are staying at BCV. I am also concerned that our flights are full and might be overbooked from EWR. We are retired, so we can be very flexible.
We just returned on 8/28, the flight sheduled for 8:17PM was overbooked, and we were upgraded to FC. It was a non-meal flight, so no food, but that glass of Chardoney really tasted good after a long hot, then rainy day at WDW. I think the parks will be ok. Just take advantage of fast pass when you can.
