Taking my mom shopping today but that is the only exciting thing on our docket. Have fun!
Gail and Jan,
Funny how things work out, and you run into people who know you, or about you. My wife worked at Bronners for about five seasons, with the artists who do the custom paint on Christmas decorations. MOST of the people who work at Bronners are seasonal employees. Our farm was just two miles south of Bronners, right on the highway. We used to always set up a big fall market with a pasture full of 'serve yourself' pumpkins and Halloween docorations. Gourds, straw, Indian Corn, corn stalks, the works. If you were near Frankenmuth in the fall, you had to stop at our place for pumpins...
We moved to Florida seven or eight years ago, and opened a tractor dealership, now I work for the State of Florida at the Forest Service, maintaining the radios that keep us talking to the guys who put out the wild fires, here in south Florida.
Nice to see some folks from 'back home'...

It really is a small world - and so long as they don't play the music, I am OK with that!
There's nothing like being on one Disney cruise to beget another oneMy daughter and I just got off of the Fantasy on a Western Caribbean cruise last Sat, and while on board, we booked the the Nov. 1 Eastern. The Fantasy is a beautiful ship, and we didn't get much time to explore it the way we wanted to. We had three Port excursions (not counting Castaway) and we saw the Mayan ruins on two of them. Seeing these was something I had wanted to do my whole life, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Nonetheless, we did not get the chance to explore the ship the way we wanted to and we are glad that we will have three at sea days on the Nov 1 cruise, so we can relax and have time to explore the ship. We were also excited about the different itinerary to San Juan, and chose this sailing for that reason. I look forward to chatting with you all over the next 17 months.

IOn that cruise, I will be 63 (yikes - where has the time gone???) and DH will be 66 (almost 67). Hope you don't mind hanging around us old folks! Second marriage for us - our son is 42 and our daughters are 40. This year, our 6 grandkids range in ages from 11 to 7.

Jan,
When we sail I will be 67. My daughter, with whom I will be cruising is 42 and my son is 37; my husband (who, unfortunately does not like to travel) and I have three grandkids ranging in age from 11-7. You and I have at least a couple of things in common

It is again Monday! So I thought I would start my week off by giving this thread a little bump back up to page one! Of course I should be getting ready for my day not setting and messing with the computer!!

Just booked this the other day. It will be me, DH and daughter will be 12 at the time of cruise. It will be our 6th Disney cruise. We've been on the Fantasy (1), Dream (2), and Magic (2).
We have several friends that we've met on other cruises that will also be on the cruise. I'm really looking forward to this itinerary!
Tom, do you get back to Michigan often, yearly, etc.? If you do get back to Michigan before 11/2014, perhaps Gail and I and our DHs can meet up with you and your wife.

We'll probably be up to Michigan this winter around Christmas, as my Son and his Wife just announced that she is 13 weeks along and the new baby is due in December. That will probably be a 'shorter' trip (not the full 10 days I usually take) up to visit with the new member of the family and back to Florida before I get too darn cold.

We are booked as well. I'm calling it the 2, 3, 4 birthday trip. Our son will turn 2 on 11/1/14, Ashley turns 30 on 11/3 and I will turn 40 on 11/8. So this itinerary was perfect. The Fantasy is the only ship we haven't sailed on. Magic (3), Wonder (3), Dream (1). Also booked on the Magic in January to check out the refurbishments and celebrate our Anniversary. We took our son on his first cruise in April for an 8 day itinerary that was great. We are ensuring he grows up with his sea legs. Look forward to posts about the cruise to help the time go by.
