November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

I just made my ADR's this morning. I got everything I wanted, but I wasn't able to make one for Yak and Yeti- they said I had to do it at 180 mark for that day for that restaurant.:confused3 We are going to the San Angel Inn, Le Cellier, Ohana Best Friend Breakfast, Jiko, and Ohana for dinner. I have realized that because my DH and I are going to Jiko alone (the kids are going to Simba's clubhouse) that they will have 2 unused table service credits. I hate to waste them, but I don't know when we can fit in another table meal. Does anyone know if you can use table meal credits for counter service meals. I know that seems like a waste, but I don't really know what to do with them.

From what I´ve heard you can´t use them for CS, unfortunately.

I'm getting jealous and excited at the same time! We don't arrive until 11/29, so we can't make our ADR's until 5/2. So, I'm jealous of all of you who have already made your ADR's because that's just one more step towards the reality of your next WDW vacation! AND I'm excited that my date is coming SOON, so then I'll be one more step towards the reality of MY next WDW vacation!

We aren't making that many...Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and Brown Derby (For the Fantasmic dinner). I might make an ADR for SciFi Dine In, not sure yet. We are only going to be in the parks for four days so I want to minimize the amount of time we are sitting in restaurants.

ok I couldn't wait anymore for the hours to come out so i made my ADR's anyway....:cool1:  :yay:

They are as follows:

Sunday Nov. 2nd
Boma - 6:15 pm for dinner

Monday Nov. 3rd
Chef Mickey's - 9:30am for character breakfast ( i knew i'd get DisBF to do a character breakfast! ::yes:: )

Tuesday Nov. 4th
Le Cellier - 1:55pm for lunch (no dinners were available!! :worried: )

Wednesday Nov. 5th
Big River Brewery At the Board walk - don't need reservations

Thursday Nov. 6th
Coral Reef - 5:00 for dinner

Friday Nov. 7th
home:sad2:

What do you girls think? sound good?

I think your plans sound great. Just one question: When you say you arrive at 4, is that at your resort? The airport? Are you driving?

I haven't made my flight reservations yet, since Southwest is not taking anything past October right now. I THINK our flight out of Pgh will be at 12:40pm or 1:40pm. I want a non-stop flight and going by the schedule now, that will probably be when it is. It takes approx. 2-2 1/2 hours to fly there. Am I cutting it too close? We are staying at ASMo, which is pretty close to MGM from what I saw. Hmmmm.

Right now I have the following ADRs:

Sun. Nov 2nd: Crystal Palace @ 5:30
Mon. Nov 3rd: Le Cellier @ 5:25 (might be changing this to somewhere else)
Tues. Nov.4th: Sci Fi @ 5:20 (might be changing this too)
Wed. Nov 5th: Chef Mickey's @ 8:10 for breakfast
Thurs. Nov 6th: Whispering Canyon Cafe @ 6:25
Fri. Nov 7th: CRT @ 8:30 for breakfast

I Gave DH my Disney book and told him to look through the other restuarants and see if he would rather each somewhere else. I had told him I might try to chang Le Cellier to Coral Reef and after looking he said that would be fine with him so I am going to decide if I want to change Sci Fi also and then call and change then.

congrats on your house! DH and I just bought our first home a few months ago. It's so exciting!

Thanks SparKeLLy!!! It is very exciting... alittle nervouse about it but its a good kind of nervouse... we are also moving to another state. (the border of NH and MA but still!!) The price difference just 7 miles over the border into NH was insane! its just too expensive to live in MA. Its going to be an interesting change for the both of us.

Big Congratulations!

Thanks N10CJT!!!:goodvibes We both have been saving alot and its a townhome in a duplex not a "real" house but hey its a start!
I just can't wait to be able to paint! After being in apartments for 2 yrs and looking at eggshell white in every single room i'm dying for some color!!!:hyper:

Just back from New York, and our ADR plans have now been made!
It was a little tricky. Along with my girlfriend and I, my parents and my brother will be down there, and we'll be rendevousing for dinner pretty much every night. My brother's girlfriend may also be with us, depending on a lot of things. Also, after Thanksgiving, which we'll be spending with my sister in Palm Bay, my niece is coming back with us to Disney. Then my sister and her husband and my nephew are checking into Pop for the weekend..... and want to eat with us.... and hang out with us in part..... and aren't exactly easy people to plan with...... yeah.....
But I think we have a plan. Not everything I'd like, but certainly close enough, and there's not much to complain about in any case.
Here goes....
Tuesday we won't arrive in time for dinner, so we're hoping to come in under the wire at Beaches and Cream. Otherwise, I think it's the ESPN Club or something.
Wed.: Cape May breakfast! Le Cellier for dinner
Thur. Thanksgiving. Breakfast at Spoodles, dinner at my sister's.
Fri. Kona for dinner (this is my niece's favorite)
Sat. Chef Mickey's for breakfast (again, my niece), Yauchtsman for dinner.
Sun. Boma for breakfast (a surprise, and I'm pleased!), Cape May for dinner (not my choice, but a lot of factors made this the dinner we're bound to)
Mon. Crystal Palace for breakfast before the park opens! Then Citrico's for dinner.
Tue. California Grill for dinner. So excited!
Wed. Brown Derby for dinner.
Thur. Whispering Canyon for breakfast (maybe), then Fulton's for dinner. Just me, my girlfriend, and my mother, plus a ton of shellfish.
Fri. Chef's for dinner, on the Processional package.
Sat. Donald's Safari for breakfast (how cool!), Flying Fish for dinner!
Sunday we're off.
Plus we'll be eating breakfast at least once at Kona. And my girlfriend and my mother are going to tea the second Thursday (I'm going golfing that afternoon).
I hope they all come in for us, we're 180 days out this Thursday!

N10CJT I am soooo jelouse you're going to be there that long!!! Everything sounds good though. Really good choices for your ADR's!!

Yeah we're really looking forward to the extra days! That week after Thanksgiving is really a great time to go, and we hated to leave on Thursday last year.
We're definitely getting excited now. Today is our 180 day mark!

November-goers are apparently on vacation these past couple days..... I can't remember a time when no one posted for this long! :rotfl2:

LOL, I think everyone is over on the November Calendar thread talking about them not putting the dates up, yet. That thread moves pretty quick.
