Nov park hours: no MNSSHP?? :(

I thought i had seen predictions that there would be one more party after Halloween but the schedule doesn't show that. So bummed as we sorta planned our trip with the hope of getting to the party.

I think with Halloween being on a Friday it would have been difficult to have MK close early on Thursday, Friday, AND Saturday.

I bet the first Christmas is the following Friday though!

We'll be able to hit both parties, we get in 10/30 -11/9.. so glad!! (the first Christmas party is Fri Nov. 7)
I would have been so bummed to miss the Halloween party... maybe you all can reschedule?..

Yes, there is new information. The Disney travel agent calendar changed the hours that it had listed for August. Generally, you could count on parties happening any day the MK closed at 7:00. The August calendar showed these 7;00 closings on a couple of nights. The calendar has now changed and has more typical MK hours, indicating no party. The updated calendar is showing a last modified date of today.

The rumors were for 8/29 and 9/1. When today's TA calendar was updated to include Novembers hours, the hours for 8/29 were extended.

Thanks for that info! I admit to being a little excited about the idea when I heard about it last week, but oh well. It's kinda nice to just know one way or another so I can stop looking at revamping my plans.

Dates should be officially announced in the next few weeks.

Remember Night of Joy is held typically around Labor Day. MK closes early for two nights. If Disney is starting MNSSHP early that could push Night of Joy to the end of August.

I was surprised to see this and decided to peek at the calendar and suddenly realized it had my first three days on it! We are going on the Friday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, lol! I was surprised there doesn't look to be any MVMCP's that whole week of Thanksgiving. Do they always do that? Glad I'm not going that week, I'd be sad to miss the party. I was planning the Friday would be closed by 7 pm on the 28th, but looks to be open till 10pm, with wishes at 10, so plan change again, lol. I do see that there is a party on the Sunday evening, the 30th, which is good as we planned to go to that one!

I'm also a bit confused about the AK days, it still shows the Jammin Jungle Parade - isn't that parade disappearing before then? Probably a misprint?

Oh, and at DHS, it says Parade: Dark. There isn't a parade there anymore at all, is there? Seems odd they'd have two things like that that are not even around anymore, doesn't it? Or am I wrong about that?

This seriously threw a wrench into my plans. My only option now is going to the party on October 31st, which will be way too crowded for my tastes. I really don't want to skip the party but I'm now anxious and feeling like it won't be worth all the hassle.

No parties around Thanksgiving is a normal thing due to crowd levels.

I'm wondering what the deal is for Monday 11/17. MK closes at 7, no Wishes, but no party either?

I really hope it's a mistake and it's a regular MK night.
